A surprise photo!

Late in the morning of December 27, 2005, I took my new toy (a Nikon digital camera) and walked down Corrales Road taking pictures of whatever caught my eye. At one point right at the edge of the town of Corrales, I stopped to take various shots of the Sandia Mountains and nature below them. I took a series of pictures, changing camera settings between shots to see what difference they'd make.

All I noticed was the great view I had...nothing out of the ordinary. I was relishing beautiful New Mexico and having fun with my camera.

It wasn't until I got home and uploaded the pictures onto my laptop PC that I noticed something odd in one of the pictures. All the other shots in the series contain nothing out of the ordinary, but the one picture you see here on www.shirleymaclaine.com. I was ecstatic when I realized that I caught a UFO on "film"! At least, I can't explain it away as anything else. :-)
