Spirit Stories: In Your Own Words

I live in Arizona, and my mother and her sister live in Illinois. My mother and I had this experience when her sister Barbara passed away April 13. Barbara was sick with cancer when she called my mother, who is in a nursing home with advanced Alzheimers, before she passed away just to say "hello and I love you." Because my mother's condition is so advanced - she has no communication or comprehension skills left - Barbara did not mention being ill.

When I spoke to my father a few days after Barbara's passing he mentioned to me that my mother was crying all day in the nursing home which she has never done before. She was not told of Barbara's passing - but she obviously felt something. They were not always in touch, but they had a strong spiritual bond.

Also on the evening Barbara passed away, my phone kept ringing in the middle of the night, and a couple times during the day. When I would get up to answer the phone no one was there. Later that day my sister called and told me Barbara passed away. I have heard Sylvia Browne mention that sometimes when someone in the spirit world wants to send a message our phone will ring.

I just wanted to share my mother's reaction and my phone ringing when my Aunt passed away.
