Pet Stories: In Your Own Words

Doonie was a "human-imal." The extraordinary little dachshund came into my life during the most shaky part of my spiritual quest, and continued to bless me with unconditional love for 17 years. Through ups, downs, tears, laughter, growth, pain and beauty, his strong spirit communicated with me spiritually. He was a four footed metaphysician and a wonderful weenie dog jester, he always knew what I needed. Through everything, he gave me unconditional love.

Often at night, feeling his little body curled next to me in bed, I would remember that unconditional love IS possible ... if a little dog can do it, I can, too. Since Doonie, I have had three more furry loves in my life, all of them loving me with a type of patience that I strive to achieve. All of them unique personalities bringing new energy to my life. I always want a furry friend in my life!
