RABBI WAYNE DOSICK, PH.D.

Rabbi Wayne Dosick, the author of The Real Name of God: Embracing the Full Essence of the Divine, is an educator, writer, spiritual guide, and healer, who teaches and counsels about faith, ethical values, life transformations, and evolving human consciousness, and is well-known for his quality scholarship and sacred spirit.

He is the spiritual guide of The Elijah Minyan, where the worship services are highly acclaimed for their deep prayer and meditation, joyous singing and chanting, and warm, atmosphere that encourages deep connection to God and to a community of friends.

For more than seventeen years he served as Visiting Adjunct Professor at the University of San Diego, teaching the only courses in Jewish Studies at this Catholic university.

Rabbi Dosick is the award-winning author of eight previous critically acclaimed books: the now-classic Living Judaism, Golden Rules, Soul Judaism, When Life Hurts, The Business Bible, The Best Is Yet To Be, and with his wife, Ellen Kaufman Dosick, MSW, 20 Minute Kabbalah, and Empowering Your Indigo Child.

He has been awarded honorary Doctor of Divinity degrees by both his alma mater, the Hebrew Union College and by the Jewish Theological Seminary, making him one of the few rabbis to be recognized by both America’s Reform and Conservative seminaries with an honorary degree.

Rabbi Dr. Wayne Dosick has been described as a “rational intellect with the soul of a mystic,” and he has been called “one of the most gifted teachers of our generation, who understands the mindset, needs, and yearnings of people, and responds to this intellectual and inner searching in peerless fashion.” In response to his newest book, The Real Name of God, he has been called “a spiritual master of our time.”

He is eager to share the revolutionary revelation of the real Name of God, and to invite people into a deep, personal, intimate, loving relationship with the Divine.

About the book:

THE REAL NAME OF GOD: Embracing the Full Essence of the Divine

How are we to really know God – if there are so many different faces of God reflected in multiple names of God--the vengeful God, the judging God, the merciful God? Each of the traditional names—

including the Hebrew YHWH—seemingly present only one aspect.

Now bestselling author Rabbi Wayne Dosick, Ph.D has applied his years of biblical scholarship to unearth The Real Name of God— resulting in a book that answers the question “Who is God?” and

postulates a vastly different and more expansive understanding of God so that we can join with the divine in transcending our modern divisive world.

In The Real Name of God: Embracing the Full Essence of the Divine, Rabbi Dosick says that we cannot know something truly until we know its name.

In discovering The Real Name of God, he says, for the first time we can comprehend God’s wholeness.

Until now, he says, we have been limited by the fact that none of the names of God that we know from the Bible — nor any of the names by which God is later identified and known — is God’s real Name. Every God-name reflects only one of God’s aspects, attributes, or characteristics. None has embodied the wholeness, the totality, the full Essence of God.

By challenging long-held, comfortable beliefs, by re-imagining and re- translating the biblical text, and by combining quality scholarship with sacred spirit, Rabbi Dosick can now reveal the real Name of God that has been hiding from us for all these years — right in plain sight in the Bible. In fact, the Name appears 359 times and the real Name of God is shared by all three biblically-sourced

religions, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, affirming our Oneness — One God. One World.

One People.

The Secret Language of Dogs
Have you ever thought, “If only my dog could talk. Then I would know what he really wants. I would know what to do!”

According to dog trainer and intuitive Jocelyn Kessler, dogs are communicating with us all the time… we just need to pay attention. “Your dog knows when you are getting a common cold even before you start sniffling,” says Kessler.

Kessler, who has worked with the dogs of entertainment industry professionals, including celebrity actresses Parker Posey, Carol Kane, and Melanie Mayron, explains how to listen to your pet in her new book, THE SECRET LANGUAGE OF DOGS.

Kessler offers poignant and humorous stories of actual sessions with clients, as well as a step-by-step guide to connect to your animal on your own. She explains how to read the behavioral and energetic traits of your dog, and how to avoid inflicting your own emotional issues onto your pet, along with special advice for helping dogs with medical conditions, rescue dogs, and dogs with behavioral issues.

THE SECRET LANGUAGE OF DOGS brings much needed attention to the value and appreciation of the wisdom of animals, how they live in the moment, and how, by connecting to them energetically, they can guide us to a higher level of understanding who and what we are.
