Dr Rosenberg began his practice of medicine in Chicago as Associate Professor of Pulmonary and Internal Medicine at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition to teaching medical students, interns and residents; he attended to patients at the medical school's affiliated hospitals. He moved to Arizona in 1982 to open a private practice in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Medicine. Dr Rosenberg continued his role as a teaching Physician both in Arizona and California. His practice is now limited to the specialty of Sleep Medicine. Currently, he is Medical Director of several sleep centers in Arizona.

Dr Rosenberg is a medical journalist, and his sleep column is published weekly in several Arizona newspapers. In addition, he is a frequent lecturer to the public and the medical community. Dr Rosenberg appears on TV and radio discussing sleep related issues. Currently, Dr Rosenberg is a Sleep Medicine Consultant, and is available to see patients in Northern Arizona at The Sleep Disorders Centers of Prescott Valley and Flagstaff
