Adventure and discovery was the enticement that drew Lee Elders to this wild lawless land; the supernatural world of the Shuara that live in a mystical realm of ayahuasca-induced visions where the ethereal world is encased within our third dimensional reality. Along the way he discovered his true self - his Kakarma. However incredible some of the incidents may seem this is a true story.

Default Joanne and Monti~

Hi Joanne.....I was going to suggest just what Steph said. Try all of the steps except changing the security. Those were all the steps that I did, but I did not experiment to see if some would work without the others.

Good luck Monti!!

Default Chat issues

I haven't been able to sign in chat for ages. My husband, who is a techie, says that the error message shows the sm site has an issue with their security certificate. I would love to join chat again if someone knows how to do it.

Are you guys actually going into the java program settings and not trying to make security setting changes on the web browser when you are at Shirley's website? I would suggest closing all of your web browsers and then finding the actual java program wherever your computer has all of those listed--sometimes in settings sometimes on computer hard drive under "all programs" (not sure about Macs). Then right click on Java and you should be able to select properties or something like that, which will allow you to type in websites to trust. Then type in the websites as others had suggested--both http and https versions.

I'm out of my office right now, but will double check these steps that I took.

I haven't been in chat the last few Sundays. Should we set up another day of week to practice getting some of you into chat who are still having trouble?

If you continue to have trouble, you can post issues on EB, and we can try to address in real time for you?

How about tomorrow or this Thursday at 7:00 CST?

Stephanie

Me too, although I have 'computer blindness' will have a friend look at it when she visits next month, haven't been able to get into Chat for six, or more months, thank you for trying to help anyway. Miss you.

Love,

Default Hi everyone

I've read all of your thread messages regarding this challenge of getting into the Chat Room, because I've come up with the same challenge of not being able to get in as well. I followed all of your suggestions and this is the message that Java is giving me as to why it failed:

Error occurred during initialization.
Please check all the configuration directives syntax,
availability of required resources such as images and sounds,
and Java Console for additional information.

I get the feeling that I might have something turned-off or disabled on my computer, but not sure which one is causing the failure to initialize.
Any suggestions?
Thank you
Ann

Ann and others...Maybe this will help:

I am running Windows 8 on a desktop
Go to Control Panel
Choose Programs
Choose Java 32 Bit
Choose Security Tab
(on the screen my Level Scale is showing High (which is in the Middle)
Under Exception Site List on this same Security screen with the Scale
Choose Edit Site List
In the Location Field type http://shirleymaclaine.com
(or some use https:// ---- try both)
Choose Add
You should now see this url in the Exception Site List box

Now see if you can get in Shirley's Chat Room.

Hope this helps...

Love...Peg

Ann,

Perhaps specifically requesting a Java Update will help ??
