Adventure and discovery was the enticement that drew Lee Elders to this wild lawless land; the supernatural world of the Shuara that live in a mystical realm of ayahuasca-induced visions where the ethereal world is encased within our third dimensional reality. Along the way he discovered his true self - his Kakarma. However incredible some of the incidents may seem this is a true story.

Default Chat Room Tech Assistance?

Hello All,

Tonight in Chat, we were talking about possibly setting up a conference call or a Skype session to all get together and walk through the issues folks have been having with getting into Chat. Some of us have luckily been able to figure out the fix (I admit that I could not figure it out without many tries and assistance with people here).

Would you guys be interested in that? Those of us who've figured it out can walk you through what to do on your computer.

Let us know which interface you prefer: (1) Skype; or (2) conference call.

Also, what days of the week and times of day (Eastern, Central, Pacific, Mountain) would work best. Perhaps the more people we can have on the call the better? At least for the first go at it?

Hope to hear from you all. The more the merrier and rollicking in chat!

Namaste from the midwest,
Steph

Another idea for possible interface would be a "go to meeting" format online where you can either join the meeting online or conference telephone call and the see on your own computer screen someone else's desktop and that person going thru the steps to re-gain chat room access.

Just a thought. Let us know what you think.

Maybe a Skype call for assistance? Very good idea. Thanks for the input.

Hello,

I haven't been able to get into the Chat Room in a very long time, am becoming more embarrassingly more of a tech-idiot everyday, any suggestions, do not even use Skype.

Love,
Di

I'm with you, Di. I am a "tech-idiot" too and haven't been in chat for a very long time also. And don't do Skype. Is it hopeless?

Ha! Maybe all of you should just email me your phone numbers, and I'll give you each a call during lunch one day and walk you through the steps? Old school! I promise I'm not a solicitor and will not share or publish your phone numbers! ;-)

Default Joanne and Di~

See if this helps.......this is what I did.

Click on Java
Then Java Configuration
Then click Java security tab up top.
Then I had to lower the security from High to Medium
Add SM.com to the "Exception Site List"
And then click on "Restore Security Prompts"
Then click "OK" to save it all

Thank you Shelley and Steph,
The only problem I have with your suggestion Shelley, is that my husband doesn't want me to lower the security from high to medium. We have had a couple of viruses in the past that wreaked havoc with our computer and he just doesn't want to take that risk. So, I might just be out of luck with chat. But I appreciate the information. Maybe it will help others here who are having problems.
Love,
Joanne

Default Facebook?

Do any of you use Facebook? We could schedule a date/time to meet on Facebook and have a chat there, and then some of us could walk each of you through the steps.

Joanne, I just raised my security level back up to high, and chat still works fine using the other "fixes."

Let me know if Facebook would be a good place to meet and in "real time" walk through these bugs/fixes.

Steph
