Adventure and discovery was the enticement that drew Lee Elders to this wild lawless land; the supernatural world of the Shuara that live in a mystical realm of ayahuasca-induced visions where the ethereal world is encased within our third dimensional reality. Along the way he discovered his true self - his Kakarma. However incredible some of the incidents may seem this is a true story.

Joanne,

Post more!!! I--and I'm sure others including Shirley--love your posts.

And why do you think some do not post as much now as before?

Namaste from the Midwest,
steph

Hi Shirley!

I am sure there is not just one answer to your question.

For myself.....I ALWAYS read your posts....if I see them!! I don't get on here daily so I may miss some.

And I agree with Cher. I do the same thing. I try not step on your name if it is a new post, so others can see it.....especially the new people who may not know that you post as much as you do. But, if it has been there for a bit I do comment, if I have something to contribute.

I also agree with Chi..."it's complicated;the relationship of the celebrity and the fan".
So, I would not rule out intimidation. Lol
But, I think that is natural....especially for new people or shyer people. It is a bit surreal to know that someone, who in some cases you have known on the big screen and on TV most of your life, can suddenly know who you are and your opinion or life stories.

Well, that is all I can think of.

Default For Shirley

Dear Shirley,

You know in your heart that all here are supportive of you.
In response to your question, I think a lot of people do not respond because they are intimidated by you and fearful of what you may think of them or fearful of seeming stupid or illiterate.
I have attempted to respond to some things but, don't remember much feedback from you to these posts. This is not at all meant as a criticism but as an observation.

Your life is very full and busy more so perhaps, than many of the average humans here, I suspect. So, it is logical that you are unable to reply. Also, a lot of people here are dealing with a lot of things in their lives and as has been noticed, they just can't be on here as often as they used to be on here.
I have become distracted by Facebook and sign many, many petitions there to help the world in one way or another every day. I suspect that this is part of the reason others are not as active on here as we used to be. It certainly is nothing personal and you don't intimidate me because I love you and understand that your zooming around is not always a picnic. You know this and you know our "history". Just sayin' lol

Blessings, Peace in your heart, and Love,
Wolfdog

Smile All right Folks!!!

All right folks, I think it is time we had a Reunion on sm.com. We have all had lots to do elsewhere and I think it is time we made time for here with our wonderful friends.

Shirley, can you do another Q&A Moderated Chat? That would be great to connect again, the all of us.

What does everybody think about that as a way to start posting here more?
Let's begin with a special chat and get us all together again on the same page and go from there.

Love you all,
Deb

Default I vote for a meditation chat, too.

Shirley, and you all, have taught me how to meditate while we have been doing it during the chats and I LOVE it. I was able to tap into something that I had felt able to do a bit beforehand, without realizing quite what it was, and learn how to channel this. Connecting with all of you, and Shirley, at the same time really allowed me to feel an individualized unity as part of this site. Let's do this more often, please.

I am a new member and haven't been able to get here much less post lately. Things have calmed down for the most part so hopefully I will be around more.
Shirley, you didn't feel intimidating when I met you at a meet and greet a few years back so I don't feel any intimidation here in print.

Bubbles, I think you my be over-thinking things here a little. You also sound just a bit judgmental--which I think is not the mindset of most of the people here. I'm not really sure what you are getting at, but it sounds pretty negative to me. There are many possible reasons why people aren't responding to posts here. But the reasons you have cited just seem mean spirited. And I'm pretty sure that is not what Shirley is aiming for on her site. So, I would say, back off a little. There are many reasons why people may be reading but not writing. I am getting SO tired of people being judgmental about things they truly have no knowledge of. This is something our society really needs to be aware of.
Peace and love,
Joanne
