Default Meditation Sangha

My new Friends,
I know I am quite new to your community (thank you so much for your immediate warmth and receptivity), so you may already have a meditation sangha amongst you of which I am not aware. If not, however, I was wondering if any of you would like to regularly join me in daily meditation. I think it would be so powerful for us to meditate together at the same time across the world. Strike that: I don't "think" it, I know it!

Upon my last morning in this crazy desert town of Las Vegas before traveling home, I thought I would kick off a possible meditation sangha here with an invite to sit with me this morning. It is approximately 7:15 a.m. here (9:15 central). If you are "accidentally" reading this right now and are available in the next 30 minutes or so, I am about to put myself in park on my meditation cushion. Please join me. I feel the need for a sangha right now.

And give some thought to a daily meditation group that we could start (if there is not one already). I am typically a morning meditator (usually around 6:30 a.m. CST), but am certainly willing to change and/or add times that are more workable for you all.

Hope to see you in my third eye here in a few minutes.

much peace,
steph

I hope some of you were able to join me. I felt a connection, and I was joined by my beautiful blue color that comes to me only when in deep, healing, connecting meditation. The color was with me for almost the entire time, which has not happened since Santa Fe yoga training when amongst the Prajna sangha. Thank you all.

To the Midwest!
Namaste,
Steph

Hi Steph,
Would love to participate in a morning Sangha, but don't know if I will be able. Most mornings I am at work very early--don't think my boss would go along with it haha.
You said you are on your way back to the Midwest. Where to exactly? I lived in Illinois for a couple of years, but was born and raised here in CT.
So nice to have your presence here.
Love,
Joanne

Maybe we can have a morning and an evening meditation sit for everyone who wants to participate? Perhaps we could alternate--mornings on even days; evenings on odd days? Something like that?

Yes, after a week on the road, I am back home in the Chicagoland area (sweet sweet home, Chicago!)--FAR south suburbs right now, but that will change to a place in the city in about 2 years when the youngest graduates from high school! I've never been to CT. How would you describe it?

peace from the Midwestern spring!
steph

Well I am just about to sit this morning and it is already 7 a.m. CST. Please join me! And it strikes me this morning that 6:30 am CST is probably not reasonable for our friends on Pacific time--you'd think I would have realized this just having spent a week in that time zone. Yes, a communal evening sit might be best. Thoughts on a good time?

Namaste,
Steph
