Default Born to Be Wild

Narrated by Morgan Freeman, this short (40 min) 2011 IMAX 3D documentary is about the unique connections that developed between two scientists (one in Kenya and one in Borneo) and two species (elephants and orangutans).

All the animals are orphaned babies due to either poachers or companies cutting down the rain forests. The scientists and their teams raise and nurture them until they are old enough to survive on their own and be returned to the wild.

These little ones (if you can call an elephant little LOL) are so adorable and I found myself smiling and chuckling all through the movie.

More importantly, the film sends a wonderful message of what is possible when mankind respects his environment and the animals and all work in cooperation for the benefit of all.

***

Another good one I recently saw is called Indigo. Its an older 2003 movie with Neale Donald Walsh shedding light on the generation of Indigo children. Its directed by Stephen Simon (spiritual cinema circle) and James Twyman (produced?).

Enjoy...Peg
