Adventure and discovery was the enticement that drew Lee Elders to this wild lawless land; the supernatural world of the Shuara that live in a mystical realm of ayahuasca-induced visions where the ethereal world is encased within our third dimensional reality. Along the way he discovered his true self - his Kakarma. However incredible some of the incidents may seem this is a true story.

Default Genesis/John. . . same God?

So, after many years of hesitation and downright rejection of the Bible, I have decided to study it as I would any text book and see for sure what I think about it.

I have been reading Genesis, Exodus, and John, and it seems to me that the God described in Genesis and Exodus is NOT the same as the Father than Jesus speaks about in John.

I know there is the whole Extraterrestrial as genetic engineer debate. I find that extremely plausible and have held that belief for a while. I am trying, however, to set aside (at least temporarily) my current beliefs so that I can explore other possibilities without looking too much through the filtered lenses of my current beliefs.

So, even aside from the ET theory, it does not seem as though it is the same being in both stories. If I'd acted the way the Genesis/Exodus god acted, my mother would have taken a switch to my legs.

Further, in John 1:18 it says, "No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten son who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him."

Doesn't that tell us that it was not the god as described in the Genesis story that was referred to in John. The god in Genesis was seen, wasn't he?

I'm confused.

Default The Holy Trinity

Amberly:
As a lifelong Christian, I am also reading the Word of God (the Bible) at this time, as a unified learning experience. I applaud your willingness to be open to learning what the Bible has to say. That is ONE of the most important things for you. There is only One Living God: the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and That God reigns over us all today. It is key to remember that the Bible teaches us that God exists in Three Elements, known as The Holy Trinity. There is no argument over this fact. God is: The Father God, Jesus Christ (his begotten Son), and the Holy SPIRIT. There are instances where the Bible states, "God appeared" or "God spoke." AND (not 'but'), and, it is stated throughout that, "No MAN has ever looked upon the FACE of God. Jesus Christ (Yahsuha in Hebrew) is NOT a "man" but God who came in the form of man to fulfill the Word of God to save His people."
It is understood among Christians that where the Scripture and the Gospels state that "God appeared" that it does NOT mean that God showed his face, but that it was The Holy Spirit who appeared; The Holy Spirit who IS God.

I am amazed that the Bible answers every question you can have--about anything. In my life my faith has always been absolute, but my discipline has been lax. I am reading the Word now for my own learning, and right there in front of me, the Word of God talks about the importance of "reading" and "being in" His Word. It is all there. The entire Scripture (Old Testament) foretells the coming of Jesus Christ with amazing consistency throughout.

So what's the MOST important thing for you during this open-minded exercise? Recently, I wrote to Reverend Billy Graham with a question about Christian denominations and "why" to all that. One of his assistants kindly wrote back to me, and this is what he said:
" Mr. Graham does not make it a policy to evaluate or emphasize any particular denomination. Since his ministry is in the field of evangelism, Mr. Graham works with many denominations. His primary concern is to urge people to make their personal commitment to Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. The Bible says, “He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life” (1 John 5:12). Man's eternal destiny hinges upon his personal relationship to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior rather than upon church membership, good works, or any religious system to which he may adhere. The Bible says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

The all-important concern is to belong to the only true church. It is composed of individual believers from many denominations throughout the world who have been born again by the Spirit of God through receiving Jesus Christ by faith as their personal Savior. We trust that you are one of these believers. You have been remembered in prayer, Tess. May God bless you abundantly."

And so my friend, I pray that helps you, and many others who read these boards. I know it helped me, and it came during this time that is so very hard for me.
Love,
Tess

Perhaps God evolves as we do. If we look at "who we are"
30 or 40 linear years back (in this one lifetime)
and "who we are" now (in this one lifetime);
"who we are" back then is almost unrecognizable
compared to "who we are" now.
So maybe God evolves (too) from a jealous and warlike
God (thru experience) to a loving and forgiving God.
If we are in God's image; then it would stand to reason
that God is also in ours. The Ethereal and the Material;
mirrors of (and to) each other. Maybe?

Joy and Light,
Chi

"In the begining God created the heaven and earth. Genesis 1:1
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM, and he said, 'Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob hath sent me unto you. This IS my name for ever, and this IS my memorial unto ALL generations." Exodus 3:14-15.sd

I'm confident that's a fully 'evolved' God. The God of us all. Turn to Him to ask your questions and you will receive your answers fully.

Dear Hearts
I don’t mean to offend anyone by sharing my experience. I believe that in our different incarnations our soul evolves in different religions.
I was shown a lifetime where I was (my souls other physicality, not this current body) a woman who was sold to harem. I was from south of France with Christian beliefs.

But I was told by the man who was than my husband that I have to pray and respect his God 'Allah'. Another of his wife was showing me how I have to throw myself face down to earth and wait until the man tells me to get up.

But my souls nature is quite rebellious it seams as I saw how in that incarnation I slowly went down on my knees, than lay flat on ground for short time, than got back on my knees and looked up to the sky in prayer to my God.

At the same time I was aware of reaction of group of man who were watching me and most of them were demanding from my husband that he should kill me 'How dare she look up to Allah" they were saying.

But there was one 'wise man' who said to my husband ;do not kill her she may be Allah's chosen one and if you hurt her Allah will be angry with you.

That saved my life than but also made me more powerful as man were afraid of me thinking that I was chosen one.

Now in this life my spirit guides said that my soul has courage, courage of believe and I was not afraid to die for what I believed.

I was born in Poland -catholic religion and was naturally given all basic education in that religion. Going to church and so on.

But when I started channelling my spirit guide I stopped going to church. One day I went to church when nobody was there, I pray and ask God if it was Ok that I don’t feel need to go to church as I used to do before.

Suddenly I heard a bird flapping the wings on top of the altar. I looked up and there was a pigeon inside the church seating on top of altar.

The bird flew to the window but there was a cage bars in the window so it flew to another but it was trapped inside. Than my guide said to me:

This is what happens to humans they are like that bird, they are trapped in the church, God is everywhere not just in church.

I left the church and left the big door wide open for the bird to find a way out as I did, but I did't close that door and sometimes when I feel drown I go to church.

As for the bible I asked my guides if I should read it, they said that I would found it boring but they said to read some books there: Genesis was one of them. I read them and Old Testament long time ago but I don't believe in bible as other people do this is my choice and my truth. Loving you

Default Faith and Belief

The title of this thread of discussion is "Genesis and the Gospel of John (the Apostle of Jesus Christ). The topic starter of this thread posed a question, and in the title, and the question, was implied a belief in God, and an examination of that belief in God through His Word, The Bible. You can have all the experiences you want, but for true Christians there is only One Answer: There is only One Living God, and he sent his holy begotten Son Jesus Christ to provide the way of Salvation to God, for humans, after death from this life on earth. The Bible, being discussed in this thread, provides in the Scripture (old testament) endless foretelling that God would send His Son, for the Salvation of His people. Upon the birth of Jesus Christ those prophesies were fulfilled. Upon the Ministry of Jesus, the prophesy was fulfilled that Jesus would tell and make clear the Nature of Life on God's earth, and FROM THAT POINT ONWARD how to ensure that you would have eternal Salvation with God, forever. Jesus makes it clear that the "Only way to the Father God Yahweh is through belief in Jesus Christ." Not as some 'enlightened master' or 'great healer' but as the actual Son of God, who was sent to live sinless on this earth, teach the Word of God, yet die condemned to death--for the sins of every person who Believes in Jesus (as God's son), so that they can have eternal life with God--after death from this life on earth. From the time point that Jesus started his ministry, the whole game of life on this earth was changed. Your life on this earth is not free. And it is not some "Experimental Game." God the Father is giving people ample time to realize this and to come to accept Jesus as their Savior in God. There is good reason for this. The Bible is accurately ticking off prophesy--both about Jesus Christ as well as the evolution of events on this earth. God created this world. Do you really believe that he cannot create just 1 person to come to this earth to teach the people how to live God's way and to find eternal Salvation with God after life here?

There are many, many, many entities at work on this earth in OUR dimension of life who are of spirit form who are DELIBERATELY at work trying to separate you from God, and your belief in God and Jesus Christ. These entities will use anything they can (of their realm and as much of our realm as they can) to Convince You to "separate from God." I have actually heard these spirit entities on recordings. True Christians will regard them and call them "demons." New Age people will likely invite them into their homes and set a place for them at the dinner table. The end result is that you will find youself: Thinking, Acting, Moving, and Criticizing yourself Farther and Farther and Farther away from God--and completely away from and critical of Jesus Christ in every way. God AND Jesus make it clear: The ONLY way to the Father God is through Jesus Christ in Faith and Belief. Hence, the demons extreme work to damage your belief or even "potential belief" in Jesus Christ. If you died right now, are you completely certian that you would go to be with God in Heaven? Are you willing to risk all eternity in damnation away from God? Those are the only questions really at hand here. You have time Today. "Whosoever believes, will have eternal life with God," Jesus says. Anything else is a serious roll of the dice.

Grace and Peace of God be with you,
Tess

Dear Tess

I respect your beliefs and your choises and I do not want to start a 'Holly War" but you said:
" These entities will use anything they can (of their realm and as much of our realm as they can) to Convince You to "separate from God." I have actually heard these spirit entities on recordings. I don't agry with your opinion here. Yes I invite spirits to converse with me and I'm sure they are not Demons and actualy I heard often Jesus speaking to me as well ,not as some church worhiping demand but as loving brother not a demon. As for my choices I rather seat at the table and meditate with my spirit guides and read books that have much more truth to tell.
We are all children of the God and we all are on the journey back home.

Love and Peace be with you sister.
