This thought has been crossing my mind that sacred sites have a past, a particular energy, and they are there to remind us of our purpose in life. So with that in mind and the age we are living with all the turmoils and flux of change should our view of what is considered a sacred site evolve to another level. Such as, I see a school playground....places of learning and healing as sacred sites. What do you think?

Hello Sunrise,
I think that the answer is to follow your heart and instincts, although I am personally a 'sunset', ha-ha, thanks for sharing. Love, Di ![]() |

That's exactly it! It's the feeling a particular 'arena' brings. I found myself the other day just overwhelmed with this 'light' energy. I don't know how else to describe it. I was on the playground with some 40+ elementary students all running around me at midday. The sky was this clear blue with whisps of clouds and the mountain range in the distance was so vibrant. I glanced at the grass and the grass seemed greener than usual. It was just a very high energy moment. Kids were running up to me to share whatever was taking place among them; and at times there were certain feelings of concerns of making sure fair play was priority, but at the same time there was this energy of unconditional open-heartedness just bouncing back and forth from nature to the kids and to me. That's when the question occurred to me whether a sacred site had to have a certain historical, religious imprint.

Have you ever gazed into a lover's eyes and gotten lost
for a moment or two? There's a sacred site for ya. Ha! As if in a fleeting, openhearted moment; two sets of eyes become portals thru which each set enters. You can't but your finger on it. It's not tangible. But it's a sacred site for sure... and you're there. Love, Chi

Dear Hearts
Thanks for posts, lovely to read your thoughts. I am 59 and I have not been to many sacred places in the world. But I had strong desire to see Peru and go to Machu Picchu and my dream become a reality last year in November. I still can not explaine in words why but to visit 'House Of The Sun" that's how my guide called Machu Picchu is the sacred site in my heart and I will cherish this memory in my heart forever. Not long ago I dreamt that I was in Machu Picchu again but strangely it was snowing there, I don't know if the snow ever falls there but in my dream it was white on the grass and inside the ruins. http://galacticdoor2011.blog.com/20...chu-11-11-2011/ I like to visit this sacred site again with my physical body soon.Loving you Last edited by Basia : 07-05-2012 at 12:29 AM. |

Hello
This weekend I took a group of light-workers to visit the sacred site of Avebury in the UK, the largest stone circle in Europe. It even has a Village inside with a Pub and two churches. We took dowsing rods and dowsed for energy coming into the site, and discovered a vortex of energy where Ley lines crossed. We meditated around a particular stone on the site this was an experience quite profound for those who had not done this before as the energy was very strong there. We visited the largest man made pyramid in the UK, and a burial site which is underground and toned together. It was magical and so good for the Soul. I recommend visiting any sacred site it is an experience to value for the rest of your life. Group energy when used within a sacred site can do much good for our planet. I agree with you regarding children's energy, it is pure and positive; things we tend to leave behind as we grow older. Love and Light Bibbs |
