I love design, any design from flowers, art, poetry, clothing, makin cookies to creating homes.

The "Garbage Warriors" story of his trials with public licensing officials is fraught with such anxiety, all in the name of protecting the public. All to often we hear such run-ins either with government or big business trying to screw the little guy, from drug company determination to keep us just sick enough to pay premiums, to insurance companies denying coverage, Monsanto and the chemical industry for pesticide poisoning our food supply just for profits.

The Garbage Warrior spoke to the one roadway inspection of $20,000 for a guy to walk the road for an hour in search of arrowheads.

I did hear of a nice young fellow in Alberta, Canada whom has gone off-grid by way of becoming sovereign and has actually won his freedom from government regulation and restriction. So it is possible.

Wow!! Imagine that! Going off the grid entirely! I would luv that Vaughn! We are in the process of designing a new home for us retired and semi-retired folks ,trying to encorporate,well water,maybe geo-thermal and solar..we can only hope!! My hubby Joe is in daily in contact with the various levels of municipal gov't. to deal with legal issues in design...can be extremely frustrating to say the least!May the design gods be with us! cheers and Happy New Year,Deb

Today I found a link about a guy in Wisconsin, who grows over 1 million pounds of found a year on just 3 acres. That's probably more than you need I know but talk about WOW!.

Located in Utah, they are designing 7 PODS each a unique design in architectural sustainable design, based upon the 7 chakras. Some PODS can comprise up 35 units.

Their is a construction company now going full tilt using
Non silicone tiles from south Africa. Not sure of details however
