Adventure and discovery was the enticement that drew Lee Elders to this wild lawless land; the supernatural world of the Shuara that live in a mystical realm of ayahuasca-induced visions where the ethereal world is encased within our third dimensional reality. Along the way he discovered his true self - his Kakarma. However incredible some of the incidents may seem this is a true story.

Default Hi, Deb and Wolfdog.

All this good news just makes my day. How sweet of you, Deb, to call bingo for the people in the residence. I can just see all of you. It will be a lot of fun for everyone. The Dollar Tree is a great idea. Just a little something for winning is all folks want anyway. It's playing the game that is fun, and being around other happy people.

Let me join in wishing Martha and Peter well. Sending love and light to the all of you.

Such great news about Sean. I am so happy the move worked out well. It had to. You have really established a pattern of ever-upward movement. It's just a matter of a short time before Sean is home with you. I am looking forward to that day. Also looking forward, as Wolfdog said, to hearing and seeing you play the piano. What a good time that will be!

Have a lovely weekend, my dear friend, and enjoy your bingo. Wish I was there with you. Love, C.

Default Deb

Hey, am joining the others in surrounding Peter and Martha
with loving healing energies for their highest good.

Sounds like Bingo was a hoot yesterday. Glad they enjoyed
all the different games. Once I get there and get unpacked
(oy vey), I'll inquire if the facility residents would be interested
in viewing DVDs. As you know (thanks to our Canadian friend,
Choc), I have 100s of DVDs, from old time black n whites to
some fairly recent ones. Oh yeah, and maybe Sean can refresh
your memory on how to play the keyboard again LOL He can
tickle those keys pretty good. Once you're up to snuff, he can
accompany you with his new blue guitar Maybe I should
invest in a bubble machine like Lawrence Welk used to have hahaha

Glad the prosthetic folks are keeping on top of things for Sean. It
will be wonderful once that is in place.

Talk to ya tonight...
Love...Sweet Pea

Default brings back memories!!!

First of all, am adding my prayers to the others for Martha and Peter.

And also thinking ..... good Lord, I haven't played Bingo in decades! I used to volunteer-call at a nursing home and loved it! Cracked me up, all the little golden oldies (as we young 'uns irreverently called the senior citizens --- dang, of which I myself am now probably one!) would toddle into the large rec room with the aid of their zimmers and what-not, and lay out on the table all their special little good luck talismans, cystals and gizmos. There was one dear little squinch (ie, sweet apple-faced grandma) named Myrtle who used a little troll with purple hair as her charm. I always rooted for her to win -- her hair almost matched her troll's, lol, and I thought that showed a lot of faith and courage on her part!

Am sure that Deb and Peg will have some wonderful stories to share as time goes by!

Love,
Lura

Default Bingo!

We had a great time! And I had so much help. I learned the Bingo Lingo for sure. There's a lot in calling Bingo in that you have to find the right rythym and timing. You can't be too slow and you can't be too fast. But as I worked it, I think I got the best timing going on. After talking to Sean what most people want from a Bingo game, we chose to play for quarters. But then, a resident came up and gave me a five dollar bill for the last game - black out. And low and behold, Sean won the Black Out. So, that was kind of funny. There is no way to cheat at Bingo, it is what it is. ahahahha!

Anyway, we all had a great time. Dorothy came to assist me, her son has been there for seven years. Both of which are very wonderful light filled people. We are having a very wonderful experience in our new place. And it is so close to home. Certainly loving that two minute trip home for me. And Sean says he feels good knowing that I am just two minutes away. So, all in all, everything is majorly good.

Tomorrow, Sean gets to go to a movie theater on a field trip. He is looking forward to that and so am I for him. He is just getting in the groove of where he is now. Lots to do and lots of great people.

As always, thanking you all so very much for joining us in this wonderful journey. we certainly are finding the joy in every moment and realizing that it is the simple things that mean so much in our everyday life. Finding comfort in our everyday is the mainstay in life.

Our wish to you is to find your mainstay in everyday.

Love you all,

Deb and Sean

Default For Deb

So how did the bingoing go? (I would have screwed it
all up!)

In any case, I hope you had some fun. You certainly deserve that! And, it was very sweet of you to help out and for Peg to have provided some good ideas.

Sending prayers and love to you and Sean.

(My son was visiting this weekend ! Always such a joy to have him home.
I told him about Sean, a long time ago and he prays for him, too! As you may recall, they are very close in age.)

Blessings,
Wolfdog

Oh my dear lovely friends, what a wonderful day I have just experienced! Ahhhh, it has been a beautiful spring day with a bountiful south wind a blowing. Ah, but Sean and I were cushioned from that wind by the plentiful 8' bushes that spread themselves along our path on our way to the "Waffle House". What a joy it was to push Sean in his wheelchair down this beautiful tree filled lane. The temp was in the high 70's, a beautiful spring day. We were laughing all along the way until we got to the street where we had to make a right and go for a little distance to get to the Waffle House. I told Sean our Guardian Angel, PJ, would protect us from the traffic, and so he he did and always does.

Now, can you imagine, this is the first time that Sean and I are out of the environment of a nursing/rehab facility and we are "free", so to speak. As I pushed his wheelchair towards the "Waffle House" and he assisted me with his hands upon the wheels going over some obstacles along the way, it was our joined efforts that got us safely there. We were laughing through this new experience, knowing that we would make it come what may. One never considers all of the obstacles that are in place for a wheelchair occupant. But together, we overcame them with immediate ease and we found ourselves sitting at a table in the "Waffle House".

We ordered a wonderful meal of eggs, waffles, ham and sausage and loved every bite we experienced. We talked of how long it had been since we have experienced a meal together out in a restuarant. But the most important thing was that we were "free". I know that most would not understand that but we were, for the first time, "free', on our own, not administered by a facilities attention. We had signed out and we were out and free of our own accord. And we had a beauritul time.

After our wonderful meal, we then began our trek back to the facility which involves about a 3 block trek back with a slight incline, so it was a mutual effort to get there. I began to feel my hamstrings a burnin' and I knew this was exactly what I needed to be doing. As well, Sean was feeling some heat in his shoulders as he pumped the wheels. It was lovely as we strove together to make our way back.

And then, we got to our car and Sean wanted to check out our car. This was a very special moment as I said, "Okay, while we are here, I will check out the fluids in the car and you can help me." So, we did just that. It really was a "real" experience of sharing in that vehicle maintenance thing which I have had to do alone throughout this time, but not today, Sean was with me and we had a great time putting in a little coolant and oil in our sweet vehicle that has blessed us with transportation throughout this time.

Sean said it made him feel useful again. And I told him that, doing it together made it simple and sweet. Yes, he was sitting in a wheelchair and directing me and cautioning me to be careful. It was a very sweet moment of sharing. We made another "memory"!

All in all, every moment is unique, distinct and beautiful in its own. I feel so grateful for every moment in each day that I am able to spend with my wonderful son.

Thanking you all for your continued participation in our healing journey.

Love, Deb

Default Deb and Sean,

What a beautiful, sharing spring day you had together. Thanks for posting this, Deb. I felt I was right there with you, in the windy sunshine on that street of trees and bushes, pushing Sean along the road to adventure.

I know something about that feeling of freedom you talked about.... How wonderful to be out and about for the first time. And lovingly taking care of the car that serves you. How sweet the feeling.

I had a rainy day here today. I made the most of it. But I got a taste of spring in reading your post. Thank you, dear friend, for making my day. I so enjoy reading about you and Sean and your lives together. You are certainly getting all the joy of each thing you experience. It does the heart good. Love, C.

P.S. Say "Hi" to PJ for me.

Deb, your joy came through in this post loud and clear. So happy that you and Sean were able to enjoy such a simple act of sharing a meal in a restaurant together. This will be the first of many special times together, I'm sure.
Love,
Joanne
