The voices behind him did not sound human;
it sounded like E.V.P. to me. It seemed to me like
they were answering Shirley's questions too, at the
same time as Dr. Hawkins. Ha! Hawkins is of such
a high vibration... But what do I know?

I didn't hear any voices behind Dr. Hawkins just some feedback hum. They were talking over a telephone and that would explain the hum.

He was genuine Hawkins. I love the way he laughs at things. Shirley almost seemed a bit reserved in the way she questioned him. I was surprised that she seemed surprised at some of what he was saying. But, she's an actor, so who knows...

I think having surgery several times without anesthetic was amazing. Lah was asking about Mastersouls in a thread in Spirituality. I don't know if I'd say that Hawkins is one but I believe that he knows the state of pure consciousness or what is called enlightenment from the inside out. This is one of today's masters to me. He is very pragmatic about it and has none of the flair of the Indian's like Maharshi or Ramakrishna. This is what it looks like from a western perspective.

I was glad to hear he's writing another book but sorry that he says it's the last in the series. I have read all five and I'm looking forward to the last one. Sounds like it will be a doozy!

and the EVP is still there.
I turned up the volume to try
and hear what is going on
behind him; I can't make
out the words, but something
is still expressing itself behind him.
I don't know why I'm the only one
hearing it, but I swear to you;
I'm hearing it. And it gets louder as
the show goes on. It's like he's
channeling something...
And not only that!
But the second time around some
of what he's saying is shape-shifting
out of context into a deeper more
profound absorpsion...
Hard to explain...

I keep forgetting about using his kinesiology technique of answering questions. Much quicker & simplier method versis hours of meditation.

I listened three times and each time
heard things that (the previous times)
I had missed. Isn't it interesting that the
amount of time of peace upon the
earth is about 7% to 10% and that the
amount of individual consciousness'
callabrating (sp?) above two hundred
(was it?) is around 15%. As I listened
I felt a subtle shift here in my own
understanding of time and space;
as if one were one and the other the
other happening all at once. Ha!
Though that part is nothing new;
we all feel that these days now and then.
Regarding your walk and your pain
along El Camino; do you remember
Clare of Asissi? Apparently her and
Francis were close friends; it is a
beautiful story. I stumbled across it
today ( EWTN 62 - a channel I seldom
watch) after stumbling into John of
God ( LIME 138) yesterday.
You are my favorite teacher Shirley,

I just got through listening to this man speak and I'm still blown away at how much I think like him. I mean his words were instictive to me. I felt like I was listening to a kindred spirit. It truly was like a souls embrace to me. I can't wait to read his books! Thanks Shirley for bringing this man to light here on your site.
Of course Shirley was a master to at asking Hawkins the right questions, The give and take was great perfect!
Hawkins is truly a genuion soul, a master of conciousness, self hipnosis and he
even understands the soul of humanity to the point of being a saint.
His laughter was infectious too!
Hmmmm, I'm still blown away!

Oh and by the way Chi, I have to tell you that you're not alone in hearing the
background talk. I heard it too! There was a humm yes, But there was chatter competing or colaborating within the background. Not only did I hear it, I felt it!
I turned up the volumne, tried to study the voices, sounded alien to me.
My goodness, this is a first for me in hearing anything remotely like this!
Hmmm, Well this is a radio show I'll never forget ha ha!
