We took a moment at work to send our prayers and light to London. My supervisor is from London and she was very anxious this morning as she waited to hear from her family and friends there. Thankfully, she heard from everyone by this afternoon (our time) except one friend.

On a side note, In June my oldest daughter Leila was invited by her best friend to accompany her to London for three weeks to visit her older sister in London, starting this week. My first thoughts/feelings when she asked were fears about a terrorist attack. I just told her I couldn't afford it (I really could but told her I couldn't). I'm so glad now she isn't there.

I will continue to send light and prayers to the people of London.

My son is in northern Europe and no where near London and I am ever so glad his sister talked to him this morning. I am joining sending love and healing and will continue for quite sometime. I am thankful my son is not there. This leaves
me sick at heart but ever more determined to work for peace.

I'm sending healing energies to all those wounded in the terrorist attacks in the London tubes and the bus. May the Angels and Guides of those who were killed be leading them with love and care back home.

Default Tried and Untrue, you say

If the whirled leaders at that conference
could even comprehend that turn of phrase
they'd be scrambling to fund all the help they can
to where it is needed,
instead of just pouring more money down the violence drain
at the expense of everything else.
Maybe on some level they do understand
and we should try to send love and light to them
instead of just fretting about them
getting us and our global neighbors all blown up...

Spinning my wheels,
BP

During this week’s healing and wellness session, please include all of those affected by these events.

Default whoopsie

it just occurred to me this is the wellness and healing board not the whine-about-the-oppressors board! Sorry, I'm still new! Okay, all of you nice folks have inspired me I'm going to send light and love to the leaders and the terrorists and the reeling families of the bombing victims everywhere.

Good morning B_Pipetti

Welcome to Shirleys.com
There are many different forums here, so it is easy to do. I know I have posted in the "wrong area' from time to time...no biggie.

And I agree and appreciate your first post too.
Welcome and blessings to you

Jade

Cool thanks Jade

In these times I'm afraid it is all too hard to let any topic turn into a little rant about our current administration and scary priorities (or lack thereof). I appeciate everyone taking a more positive enlightened approach- because i don't know what else would have a better effect in a time and place where we may not get to have an election and the media projections for any possible end of WWIII just keeps getting ;pushed back further.

You folks in this community have a healthier approach than the fear and dismay that is taking over many people nowadays. Blessings to you as well!

Gratefully,
Betty Pipetti

Default Praying for healing...

I'm praying for all of us and especially the victims of these horrifying events that are unfolding.
I pray for our friends in London. Those who have lost a loved one, or witnessed these terrible crimes to humanity first hand.
However, I also pray for every corner of our world. It's not just happening in London, and not just in Iraq. This disease to obliterate to make a point has to come to an end soon. So I pray for this end to be near in sight and to unfold through peaceful means.
I pray for a peaceful wave of influence to ripple across the hearts of pain, fury, anger, whatever the feeling it is that unravels the dark spirit within mankind.

Let's begin each day with our hearts still filled with hope, so that we may continue to spread the hope for peace.

Good morning again Betty.

I'll tell ya, there are times that I feel I could definately be named the posterchild for the "Rant of the Day" club.

I am in a bit of a struggle today..bouncing back and forth from wanting to watch the news to wanting to stay clear of the fear/anguish that is permeating the Media right now. It is so easy, actually, to get caught up on the mindswell of Fear and I feel it is important to stay detached from the fear but also to not close my eyes to the pain and to the socalled reality we have created for ourselves.
I am filled with so much gratitude that I have this community to share my feelings with and there are so many people here who are truly striving to walk in Love and not in Fear. This site and these people have come to mean so much to me as friends and spiritual family. There are some very wise ones here.
I don't know who much exploring you have done here, may I recommend joing the "member site", another way we have to come together in the chatrooms and to Shirley's weekly show. We are here for eachother in times such as these...and for the goofy silly fun times too.
Right now, I am doing all I can to stay in the energy of Love and awareness.

Blessings to you
Jade
