Adventure and discovery was the enticement that drew Lee Elders to this wild lawless land; the supernatural world of the Shuara that live in a mystical realm of ayahuasca-induced visions where the ethereal world is encased within our third dimensional reality. Along the way he discovered his true self - his Kakarma. However incredible some of the incidents may seem this is a true story.

Default IE Radio... Where do I find it?

I feel as if I've been asleep at the wheel, missing out on much more than I'd realized. Not being terribly computer literate I did not know that I could listen to these radio broadcasts on my computer... IE Radio... Right? Where do I find it?

Any directions would be appreciated.

Thank you, Patrisha Crisp

There was a timely piece on NPR just yesterday about lack of sleep and stress (no surprise that there is a connection there). Looking forward to your interview on the topic, Brit. Here's the NPR link if anyone is interested:

Namaste,
Steph

Welcome Patrisha
Yes, IE radio is on the website. Once you have logged in on the homepage, just click to anything that says IE Radio on the homepage or Broadcast Shows in the upper menu bar.

Shirley has been doing IE Radio shows since 2000 and they are all in the archives so you haven't missed out on anything. There's a lot to listen to!

Our goal with IE Radio is and has always been to bring depth to interesting topics that usually get 'sound bites'.

Steph
Thanks for the info from NPR

Di
We'll talk about insomnia... and a thought -

Default Your questions on sleep

If you have a specific question about sleep - let me know. Post it here or send me and email by Sunday morning, the 20th, and I'll do my best to bring it up with Dr. Rosenberg.

One of the topics I've already received emails on is 'Can illnesses be improved or healed with better sleep?' Another is 'Anything on PTSD and sleep?'

If you have a thought or question - let me know

Thanks Brit, I always wake up in the middle-of-the night and it takes hours to get back to sleep, trying meditation in a sleeping position, deep breathing, painted my room dark blue with very dark shades and sometimes even resort to thinking about something boring. Out of desperation, taking pill(s) which is the last resort and know can be dangerous because once, getting up to go to work in the morning, well, remember Ambien? I was a sleep-driver, and who knows what else, wrapped my car around a utility pole on my way to work, so yeah, I have sleep problems, now I just use melatonin.

Primarily a 'night-owl' that wakes-up during sleep-time, hope that you can address that issue.

Love,
Di

Hi Brit,
I'd love to know any info on sleep disorder and ADHD. My 3rd daughter was diagnosed with this when she was 9 - she is now 18. You sent me a book many many years ago on living without Ritlan - We have never done the drug thing but we are still working on the struggles she has. One of the things that is a big problem is she has never been able to sleep. I recently read an article that stated that many cases of ADHD are a misdiagnosis of sleep disorders. I know that when I was having troubles with my thyroid - Hyperthyrodism "Graves" like attack and could't sleep for a month - I was seeing pink elephants coming out of the walls. Focusing was the least of my problems! Of course she has other issues - digestive, emotional, etc but what comes first when it comes to the lack of sleep?

I too would like to hear more about PTSD and sleep.

Thanks Steph for putting the NPR link up. I'd read it before. And it's very good.
