The Universe Plays a Numerology Joke (on me!)
Some of you might get a kick out of this little joke that the Universe played on me this morning. It made me smile and laugh, so here it goes . . .
Background: My birthdate adds up to the number 9 (well, actually, it adds up to 27, but 2+7 = 9).
So last night before going to bed, I decide that perhaps I should try setting my alarm to wake at a time that also has the numerological sum of 9 and settle on 6:21 a.m. (6+2+1=9). Should get my day off set onto the right track. Put me in tune with my destiny number and so forth....so far so good, right?
Well . . . for some odd reason, the snooze on my i-phone (what I use for an alarm) is 9 minutes long also. I have no idea why it is 9 minutes long. I never set it to be such--seems to just be some sort of standard factory setting. Anyone else with an i-phone have a 9 minute snooze, too?
Anyway . . . so 6:21 a.m. comes this morning. I hit snooze and the following occurs:
6:21 a.m.: snooze
6:30 a.m.: next alarm (6+3=9) . . . snooze again . . .
6:39 a.m.: next alarm (6+3+9=18; 1+8=9) . . . I laugh . . . snooze again...
6:48 a.m.: next alarm (6+4+8=18; 1+8=9) ....I laugh hard!...okay, I get it!
Although I finally get out of bed at 6:48, isn't this hilarious? No matter how many times I snoozed, the time would still add up to a 9! At least until you cross into 7:00 a.m. by my calculations.
I don't know if the Universe was trying to keep me in bed for as long as possible or just play a cosmic joke on me. In any event . . . it DID get me up on the right side of the bed and give me a good start to my day--with a laugh! Can't get too much better than that, eh? Mission accomplished, I guess, eh?
Love, light and laughter from the Midwest,
P.S. My birthday day is actually April 1 (April Fool's Day), too! Ha! This joke IS on me! LOVE it--and love the universe for this!
P.P.S. This probably works for other numbers, too, but I was just simply charmed by how it played out for me this morning. Had to share.
