Please pray for my step dad.
He's 90 and he's had a stroke. my mom
and brother rushed him to the hospital in the
wee hours of this morning. i am just finding out now.
Waiting to hear if Laura and i should get on a plane.

Thank you Everyone!
He's had several of these stroke episodes the past couple of years.
Each time they seem to get stronger. But he recognized my mom
for the first time today since it happened and it's no longer 1940.
She said he was awake for a little while today and there were some
coherent words in between the mumbling. He could lift one of his
arms, but he still can't find his nose or eyes or maybe he can...
but he just can't touch them. Not sure? They tried to sit him up
this afternoon but his blood pressure began to plummet, so they
immediately laid him back down. And that's where we're at for now.
Your continued prayers are appreciated. i know the power of
this group here. Thank you again thank you.

My step dad Jim passed away last Friday.
It was his time, i suppose. Sigh...
His last year had been filled with so much
physical pain and suffering. i guess he just had enough.
i wanted to thank everyone for their thoughts
and prayers, though. Hopefully they helped him
a bit thru his transition.
