There has been a terrrible shooting just 4 miles from our house. A mentally crazed man has shot a school bus driver and taken a 6 yr old boy hostage. We have police, sheriffs and swat teams from 3 different cities here trying to get the child out alive and unharmed. Please pray for this and for the bus drivers family. He is a hero he was shot trying to protect a bus load full of children. We are a very small farming town of about 1800 people and for it to happen here, I know everyone always says that. I don't know what to do when I hear of such senseless actions.......Please keep the families of Midland City, alabama in your thoughts and prayers.

I have been watching this on the news. I am sending energy to all of them.
I pray that all this violence comes to a stop.

Saw this on the news Monti. I am so heartsick over all the violence. It seems to be happening more and more. I guess all we can to is try to counterbalance it with love and peace. And what is the lesson all of this is trying to teach us?

I was thinking about this today, how everything is escalating. I mean everything. Wonderful manifestations for me and Sean, and then the contrast of people going nuts and shooting up the world. Every energy, whether positive or negative seems to be magnified these days.

It seems that everything is coming to the "surface", good, bad and indifferent, coming to the surface to be exposed.

To me, it is like, what we hold in our hearts is coming to the surface. I, personally am grateful that I have chosen to focus on upliftment everyday. I choose how I am going to go through my day, no matter what is happening around me. I choose peace in every circumstance. And because of the energy of that decision, that is exactly what I experience.

So now, I don't have bad days. I may experience a bad moment but then I correct it as quickly as I can because I don't like that feeling. And I know I am in control of how I wish to "feel"..

That is what works for me anyway.

Oh dear...just found this...so sorry to hear about yet more senseless violence aimed at children. Will be keeping all of them and the driver in my healing prayers.

Today around 3:00pm the law enforcement went in and rescued the 5 yr old little boy named Ethan. The kidnapper was shot and killed in the rescue. The boy is now with his mother at the local hospital and our little community is breathing a sigh of relief..........I pray that the man who did this horrible act is at peace. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers! We all know this could have all gone terriblely wrong, but with all the healing and helpful prayers and thoughts it did not. thanks again.....

Oh, my goodness, monti! I was out of the country and just now catching up with missed posts and stories! Am so thankful that the little boy is safe, and agree with Shirley -- we need to address what is at the root of all this violence!!
