Coming back from the grocery store today
i passed a bank sign; you know... one of those
flashing signs that flash the temperature and then
the time? Well, this one also has a thought for the
day, and while i was sitting at the light, it flashed:

"Life isn't about finding yourself;"
and then it flashed:
"Life is about creating yourself."

i immediately laughed, saying to myself;
"Geez, if i had only known that years ago. Ha!"
You know, because years ago we were out there
trying to find ourselves. That's what we were
doing in the late 60's and early 70's; "trying to
find ourselves". Too too funny...
And as the light changed... now i was trying to remember
the exact point in time when it finally dawned on me that

"Life is about creating yourself"

and i realized that I began learning this only about
12 years ago.... HERE... HERE... from Shirley.

Oh yes, Chi, when we finally realized that it was an inside job, it finally started making sense. We are the Creators of our lives!!! And we then, finally "found" ourselves through our own creations. I just love the recognition.

Taking it a thought more. Looking at "my" life, I created all of this. Why? To experience all there is to experience in this realm of being. And to see just how I would respond to my creations.

I am so grateful that I find myself embracing my creation of experience instead of rejecting it. In my embrace, I feel no pain but gratitude for the experience. And that is what I think LIFE is all about - to experience all things.

Do I get irritated from time to time? Oh yeah, and then I realize, almost instantly now that I have practiced this for some time, that that is exactly the point of the experience to bring out in me what needs to be healed. Healed or accepted? Isn't that what healing is? Acceptance?

Acceptance of What Is. It is what it is....The only thing we can change is ourselves and that is the bottomline.

Yes, i get it from a metaphysical point of view also
and the creating we do from a higher frequency before
coming in and also during. In fact, that's how i got it first
from Shirley.
But really, the quote hit me from a much more linear
perspective. It was more about how i spent so much time
in search of myself when i was here all the time. Ha! And
all the creating i was doing was not on this realm. It was
being shared on this realm but it was something else i was
doing on another realm while trying to find myself in this
linear realm that i really didn't care for. Hard to explain.
But now i'm not creating from somewhere else. i'm
manifesting right here and now and i've never been on
more solid ground and the quote just brought it all full circle
to me how it has all come from that to this. And that's why
i had to say thank you. Soft Grin...
