i meet the cutest tree once in Sedona.
It was a very young tree... about 4 ft -
and at its very top was its first and only pine cone
It was not a vain tree, but it did say notice me
and i did.

i have always been fascinated by the way a wave rushes up to the shore
and how the shore clings to it as it pulls away and rushes back out to sea;
for it seems to me to personify so many things in life... that are that way.

What i notice most about an impending gentle rain
is the sweet scent of mother earth's anticipation
as she rises up to greet it, knowing it is coming.
