In the wee hours of morning, just before dawn -
i heard the long cry of Autumn's beautiful song.
She was swirling and whirling
on a crisp cool breeze
and she was singing of the dawning
of a brand new dream.
And tho her song was but a whisper,
i heard it so clear -
as if from some far away distance;
she was drawing near.
Her song remained with me the whole day and night too.
"i'm coming back", she said; "i promise you".
"i'm coming back", she said; "i'm coming back real soon".
