What does one do, between the ripe ages of 19 and 21, when "life" consistently happens to them? By that, I mean, they face a multitude of different life crises that no one so young should have to face, yet for whatever reason, the cosmos persistently brought one challenge after another to said person?
Well, for starters, they don't complain about it. They come to understand that people face different things and peak at different times in their respective lives. They also begin to understand that whatever happened, happened. There is no need to mope about it and ask "why me?" Rather, they focus on their breath, how they feel in the present moment, and what their intuition is telling them. My name is Tim. I'm 21. You think that's young, wait till you see a picture of me. I look like I'm 12. I'm spending my last semester abroad in Paris. I'm two months away from receiving my undergraduate degree in acting. I long to act (but I come from a musical theatre background so I plan on pursuing that on the side), write, teach yoga (I received my certification last summer...No waiting tables for me! ), and advocate for human rights. Some would say I'm an old soul. Others would say I'm too sweet for my own good. I just see myself as being a genuine human that learned the importance of marching to the beat of his own drum, at a relatively young age, because of said "life stuff." I look forward to exchanging my thoughts and ideas with you all, and can't wait for the future lessons I'll take away from this site. Sending much peace, love, and happiness to you all from across the Atlantic, Tim ![]() Last edited by tjs1025 : 03-13-2012 at 12:06 AM. |
