The Big Elephant

The Big Elephant kept to her step to proceed
And so she foraged on, slowly and calmly
Despite all the temperate air that surrounded her
Yet, she still kept a steady pace, foraging on.

It was then that she came to a small plateau
As if it signified itself as the top of her world
She came upon it then and planted herself
Steadfastly looking around, to see.

She gave notice of the vastness that surrounded her
And allowed her scope of vision to encase the lot
"What was it that she was supposed to see?"
And she kept seeking for the answer.

It was then, in that moment of questioning
That her vision was tightened to precedence
And there did she bring into her present being
The answer to her very question.

There, upon the plains before here was significance
That drew her into the prominence of that facilitation
It was a most remarkable identification of her very being
And she was enchanted by its presence.

There stood, a many distance, one of her own
That appeared much like her own self
It was a majestic being in stature
Pressing itself upon the plain.

Her immediate response was to trumpet
To call to it, to make herself known
And so she did just that
She raised her trunk and began to trumpet.

"I am here," she gave trumpet
"I am here, see me," she voiced again.
And then it was she questioned herself
"Why was it so important for her to not feel alone?"

The other then turned to witness her...

The Big Elephant

The Big Elephant felt the drawing
Of this one in her sight
So she made way to greet this one
But it was then that she found
She was miles and miles away.

So, she took the path of least resistance
Making her way forward
And then she found that she had come to
A crossroads in her path
A multiple crossroads.

She stood there then and attempted to discern
Which path would lead her to that which she sought
Standing there, looking at each avenue presented
She found three paths before her
One straight ahead, another to her left, another to her right.

She paused then and questioned her very own self
Her head turned one way and then the other
And then another and then she was stilled
In her questioning, paralyzed...
She could not move forward.

It was in that moment that she realized
That she did not know which way to go
What avenue to seek, so she just lay down
She actually gave up and relented to the moment
She simply quieted herself, her tensions and rested.

And, it was in her resting that her direction was revealed.

The Big Elephant

In her waiting, a presence was revealed
A long familiar presence that prompted her to rise up
And move forward, stepping lightly yes, but certainly securely
And so she trod on, simply and exquisitely
The presence was beside her all the way.

The dirt path was tromped from visages upon it
And still they moved forward along the path
Until they came upon yet another crossroads.
It was then a distinction of passage was made known
A very great contrast was presented.

The one that had presented itself softened her
Directing her to wait until the moment came for passage
And then the one motioned for her to proceed
They then proceeded together across the crossroads
Making sure they were not in any danger.

The path became simpler, it seemed.
It then became just a simple walk to where destiny beckoned.
And in the walk, the Big Elephant felt revived, refreshed
Renewed, she felt, so that she could now look upon
Her new path as a point of passage it seemed.

It was just a moment then when she was rendered
Nourishment and a place of rest
When that one that came to assist her
Directed her to a place of refuge.
She took to this place as her new home.

She felt that she would be here for a while
And she relished in that knowing
Allowing it to be so
She looked around
And that was when she came to…

The Big Elephant

The Big Elephant looked around in wonder
Absorbing all that was in her existence
The whole scenario seemed to be
In accordance with her current state of being
And she felt a state of calm acceptance.

She suddenly felt that she could rest
And yet she felt her rest would be filtered
With new awakenings, waiting to be discovered
She smiled, but not knowing why.
And yet she smiled, nonetheless.

It was as though she had been captured in a state of solace
And yet the solace was one of a pretense of awakening
She felt totally comfortable in her stance
Waiting yes, but softly seeping into it
As if she had been here before.

So, she just walked towards that which seemed to beckon her
She softly, smoothly slid into the energy that called to her
And then it was that she came upon an energy that held her thoughts
And she chose to dwell there with the feeling of
Coming to the full knowing of her very self, at last.

It was in that moment that something within her spoke
It was a tiny echo of what she had always known, it seemed
And so she followed it faithfully.
There was a voice then within her mind and it said,
“You have finally come to meet yourself.”

It was at that moment that The Big Elephant
Heard her own voice, felt her own heart
It was then that she came to know
That she was one with that which had beckoned her
She was the One who had beckoned her.

It was a moment of union, of realization
That there was nothing apart from her
But that which had always dwelled within
She was the being that she sought
She was the “All That Is” for her.

It was in that moment that she realized
That the “All That Is” was her for her
And that “The All That Is” is not separate from her
But within her, the part of her that is cognitive and knowing.
She then became all knowing within her experience.

Her life then took on a whole new realm of recognition
Of a much broader scope of vision
It was then that she turned to look around
And she took on her scope of vision as a much greater realm
It was then that she encompassed the vastness of existence beyond her own experience.

She then came to the knowing that “at once”
She had come to the realization that she was the experience
Within the experience
The energy within the energy
The knowing within the knowing.

She then became one with “The All That Is”
She knew then, that as being an extension of “The All That Is”
That she had accomplished the awareness of that Union
And the knowledge of the purpose of that Union
Comes only from the awareness of the experience.

She realized that "she was the experience within the experience;
the energy within the energy;
and the knowing within the knowing"..

I love this - our inner guidance, our Source, as One...

All appears silent, then Suddenly – Awareness!! …

I AM ! … aware of Beingness
I sense a floatingness –
A suspension within Allness
I open my proverbial “eyes”

A surreal feeling, almost dreamy
I breathe, in and out, gentle and slow,
I pulsate to the rhythm of the flow…
In sync with the grand symphony –
The sounds of silence – music of a different kind, to me
So much, sooo much potential within this playground
In joy, I burst myself out, by intense directive of thought
And through a myriad of “me’s” – I found
The power and purpose – long sought
The expansive omnipotence of what Creation is
And have come to know – I AM … All That Is !

Ah what a lovely attribute of being an extension of the All That Is.

Thrusting forth the energy and then breathing it back in.

Therefore, we are the Breath of the All That Is....

What a beautiful thought and feeling.

I am breathing now, softly and gently, breathing.

Extending myself and then rushing back in to be rejuvinated. Over and over again. Expansion, retraction, expansion, becoming the heartbeat of existance. Observing, participating, and thus expanding.....

The Big Elephant

The Big Elephant had spent many days, it seemed
Simply basking in the radiance of her being
Without much thought for anything else
Beyond her own comfort and convenience.
But today, brought a new breath of awareness.

It suddenly seemed that everything around her came alive
And that she had grown new eyes as well as feelings
And she looked around her then to take it all in.
The first thing she noticed was the sky was a more vibrant blue
And the scent of the earth became more prominent.

She looked around more then, convinced that she had been transported
To a new place of being, a new dwelling
But then she realized that she was still where she had been
Just seeing it with different eyes, the eyes of her heart
And she knew then she had been granted the time in which to truly see.

She noticed others that she had not truly seen before
Though they had been present all along
She realized then that when she had happened upon this place
That she had felt she had nothing to give
So she had kept herself, solely to herself.

But now, she felt refreshed, renewed in some new amazing way
And she wanted to venture out, to discover possibilities
She felt this huge change within her and wanted to implement that change
Into her current state of being; she felt a progression going on
And so she opened herself to the possibilities available.

As she took the first step from her quarters
She felt a change happen about her and all eyes seemed to turn towards her
She continued and felt that she was being received by these who had come before her
To this place of solace, of rest and yet of reckoning and awakening
She felt infused with a new energy that she could not describe.

As she walked solemnly along the path that was before her
She noted others along her way, standing and watching her
She felt their anticipation of her procedure
And she was enticed by their energies
Which served to brighten her step and lifted her on her way.

It seemed that she had been given a new day, a new way
And she was ready and willing to take it, to embrace it
It was then that the others came to greet her
Solemnly at first and then more vibrantly presented
Then there were trumpets of accord.

All of a sudden, she realized that they had given her the time
To acclimate to her new surroundings
And now that she had, they were delighted in her coming
To the understanding that she had finally come to her knowing
And that knowing was the Union she had with the all of them.

Her heart sang then in a revelation of the absolute delight she felt
In having finally come to her place of being
That rendered her the joy and pleasure of coming to
The next step in her life that would render her
Yet still, a further knowing of the purpose of her being.

And with that, she smiled once again.

The Big Elephant

I noticed a delicate touch of nature today.
As I was taking my walk within the midst of my current dwelling,
I noticed, the crow flying before my path
Subsequently, a measure down, the Raven flew over my path.

I acknowledged and stated my gratitude for the ones in-between
That had come to greet me
I then, blessed this day for all that would come to meet me
And knew that I would have a wondrous day
And so, I did.

And then another Crow blessed my path.
I knew then that this would indeed, be a wondrous day.
And so, I gave up to the joy of Nature and allowed this day to be
In the Essence of all that it could ponder.

I went about my day then, joyously dwelling in the moment.
And found that each moment brought me solace and peace.
I prodded on and dwelt within the knowing
That my attentions sufficed and gratified
The very being, of me.

I realized then how much I had needed
To experience a quiet repose
One on which to begin again
A new place of being.

And so here, in this moment
Do I, being just that
A new place of being
Ever growing in my delight.
