Default Thy Bed Is Sacred

After a marathon year of touring,

the only sacred site I want to see is my bed.

I write to you from Vermont. It is snowing on my group from California here. I have been away for almost a month.

A good thing today: I tasted sweet potato and apple bisque.

Just roast some sweet potatoes and apples in a roasting pan with some garlic and shallots. Once they've roasted for a while, remove the veggies and apples and deglaze the pan with cider and apple juice. Put the veggies and apples back in and roast a while longer. When cooked through, puree them in a food processor. Add a little cider if it's too thick. Top with whipped cream that has been sprinkled with cinnamon and nutmeg. Yum. I asked the waitress to run in and ask for the recipee.

Last week I saw a beautiful floral arrangement: Carve the top off a big, big pumpkin and take out the pumpkin stuff. Make a beautiful floral arrangement and put it in a glass vase. Put the glass vase in the pumpkin. Have your own Martha Stewart moment.

Also--there is a new apple out there. It's called a Honey Crisp. You must find one and eat it. It is everything an apple should be.

In another week I am going to Arizona to take place in a Disclosure Project conference.

I'll write if I see sacred sightings.

Much Love..

Me

Margot! It's so good to see you.

Going away is so nice but nothing like coming home to your own bed.

The bisque sounds wonderful. I recently had brie soup for the first time. I thought I died and went to heaven. Soooo good.

Love your pumpkin idea. LOL at the Martha Stewart reference. Do you remember me calling you Martha Stewart after you made everything so nice
for our group get together at the Sky Ranch cabin?

Where in Arizona? Any sightings?
