Adventure and discovery was the enticement that drew Lee Elders to this wild lawless land; the supernatural world of the Shuara that live in a mystical realm of ayahuasca-induced visions where the ethereal world is encased within our third dimensional reality. Along the way he discovered his true self - his Kakarma. However incredible some of the incidents may seem this is a true story.

Default Finally A Plan

Hi there everyone:

First: I finally moved this past May. I am living in Flushing instead of Jamaica. The apartment is a lot smaller, and I still haven't been able to get organized but that is happening a bit at a time.

I will finally be returning to school this coming May (2012), and I am going to be continuing my major as social work. My short term goal is to earn a BSW and when that is worked to completion I am going to go to earn my MSW and then of course the certification. The end goal is to work with teenagers 13-19 who have been abused emotionally, physically and sexually at a Drop In Center for this population that I will try to initiate into development through foundation grants and whatever else I can find a way to do so.
It is going to be non-clinical. It is not going to be an easy task as I will need to operate it with state funding as well as private donations. I want these children to feel safe and am planning to work it so their predators (whether biological parents/guardians whathaveyou) will not have access to them. The plan is to have them home schooled and to possibly have room to house 40 but I don't want to keep children out who need help so there will be emergency cots etc if someone drops in who is in bad need of help and protection. It will be open on a 24-7 basis. I will have help with this to have it opened, but that is yet to be seen on how to do this.

No relationship is on the horizon and I am very lonely for male companionship but thems the breaks I guess.

You inspire me, too, Azure. I feel like I'm really floundering right now .... am "plan-less," and must keep reminding myself of a favorite quote:

**We have to be willing to let go of the life we planned* *in order to be open to the one that is waiting for us.* *-JosephCampbell

I hope everything works out for you!! It sounds like you may be stepping into the life that has been a-awaiting your arrival!

Love,
Lura

Default love it

Dear Lura thanks for the quote it really suits me in my life right now. It seems that those few words have given me the clarity for which I have been searching for....Funny how things show up just when you need them to.

Glad the quote helped you, Monti. I know exactly what you mean ... about how things show up just when we need them to. I'm trying really hard to be open to every possibility and to put MY will on the back burner more. It is sometimes a very hard thing to do!!

Am following the FB updates on Ryan with great interest --- you, go, girl, and may Truth and Justice prevail!!!

Love you,
Lura
