The Big Elephant stands
Grazing quietly and nonchalantly
On the twigs of various trees
And delights in the succulence.

It has a feeling that it is being viewed
From different vantage points
Different angles of its being
And yet, it doesn't seem to care.

For it knows that it is still
The Big Elephant.

Oh that we could all just see
Ourselves, as The Big Elephant
And not be moved by others perceptions
But simply stand in our knowing.

Of who we are.....

too easily I feel their sadness and feel their pain
I must believe they have a deeper knowing - more spiritual than us meer hu-mans; so that they understand the full circle of life and that it is all experience. This I must believe for surely I will weep for their loss. It breaks my heart too easily. They have so much to teach us.
