The Big Elephant
by Deb Abbott
The Voices came then, in an orchestra
Of overwhelming advantage
Expressions of multitudes, all at once
And yet it showed itself as a beautiful
And as the melody played,
So did the chimes within
Come to an accordance
That delivered itself, softly.
And softly did the message reveal itself
The words waved themselves over the tones
And it was heard then, "All there really is is Love",
That is the Keeper.
Love is the constant, the gel, the glue
That holds all together.
The Big Elephant awoke from her dream
A dream that she had dreamt many many times.
Then she asked herself, "What is Love?"
