Dear Lura I am so sorry to hear of your back problem. My thoughts and prayers are headed your way right now. I had back surgery 20 something years ago and it went so well I was up and walking 4 yrs after surgery. I had the easiest surgery there is L5 removed and I was alot younger. LOL There is so much they can do now besides surgery though. Try and take it easy until you see your Dr. and know all our prayers are for you.
