I have a neighbour who told me that she buys people one of those Amaryllis bulbs – and then she gives people that with a note telling them she’s donated to a charity as well (which she does).
She says that this way as the flower grows they can look at it and be reminded of what their donation (gift) has done throughout the year.
I can’t figure out if that’s nice or controlling somehow or maybe just the result of the fact she’s a teacher . . . or a Taurus. All the Tauruses I’ve known have been pretty, well, you know . . .Taurean.
