Re: 'Michael Moore Is A Big Fat Stupid White Man'
I can tell you for a FACT that the BS in this piece about the 2000 Florida Elections is enough for me to write off the entire piece, which has several other sections that are right out of the Neo-Con agenda on how to discredit people who support the "left" in order to makd the "right" appear better than it really is.
The author of this piece I am commenting on is totally unaware of the journalistic work of Greg Palast of the BBC and Randi Rhoads, WHO WAS THERE IN FLORIDA DURING THE 2000 ELECTIONS, and who SAW WITH HER OWN EYES what really happened, contrary to the silly assertions that those disenfranchised people in Florida were just felons and other criminals.
Michael Moore said (in essence) That his WHOLE PURPOSE OF MAKING THE FILM WAS TO MOTIVATE UNREGISTERED ELIGIBLE VOTERS TO GET OUT AND REGISTER TO VOTE, AND TO VOTE...
I could probably add that his intention was to encourage newly registered voters to THEN VOTE THIS MONSTER G.W. BUSH OUT OF OFFICE, although Michael never stated that.
Anybody who does not realize and understand that G.W. Bush LIED to the people of the United States of America, and DELIBERATELY MISLED the people of the US, and should be impeached just because of THAT, is either patently ignorant, totally illiterate, or was caught off guard by a man pretending to be doing something on behalf of those who were scared to death about what happened on 9-11-01.
That is part of the message Michael Moore contained in his recent film Farenheit 9/11, and even if Michael used a clip of G.W. Bush talking about terrorists in Israel, while playing golf, MATTERS NOT TO ME, since it portrays the man G.W. Bush at his NORMAL self, tossing out a bone to the Journalists, and then getting "back to the more important business" of his golfing. (Which is pathetic.)
Even those who WERE "caught off guard" by a man pretending to be doing something on behalf of those who were scared to death about what happened on 9-11-01, in my opinion, were totally uninformed on the issues surrounding the BS spewed out by G.W. Bush in his March 17th, 2003 address to the nation before he illegally went into the sovereign nation of Iraq and invaded it, in violation of the UN Charter and the US Constitution.
I am not going to waste any more of my time commenting on that piece, because it is filled with neo-con rhetoric (and THAT alone should tell me all I need to know) and is obviously targeted at the "left", which means FOR SURE that it is from those on the "right" who always (like toilet mouth Rush Limbagh always has) told their followers NOT to question what they say, or to do any research on their own, because they are always "right". Yeah, right.
The "right" has always used rhetoric, twisted facts and outright lies, repeatedly told to the population in the hopes that it will eventually be accepted as FACT, while the "left" has CONSISTENTLY driven social progress forward with showing what is true and important for positive growth of this nation, even if it has been peppered with the occasional exaggeration used to make a point WHICH NEEDS TO BE MADE.
Every (and I mean EVERY) Social advancement that was for the people, such as safety belts, child safety seats, clean air laws, old growth protection, endangered species protection laws, limits on the number of hours children could work in coal mines and other jobs, minimum wage laws, vehicle safety laws, smog emission laws, and the thousands of other laws protecting people, health and the environment, were ALL proposed by the "left", and all of those were fought against tooth and nail by the "right", which tells me all I NEED TO KNOW about which party is the most RIGHT, in the truest sense of the word.
Farenheit 9/11 is a film that rightfully won the top honor in the Cannes film festival, and will likely win other honors, because THERE ARE people here in this country and around the world who WILL NOT BE DUPED by the neo-con republicans or by pathetic lost souls such as G.W. Bush.
Trust the intention of the process.
