A Man and His Cat
Hi Everyone. This is a great article that was in Sunday's New York Times about the relationship between a man and his cat (or a cat and his man?). If you have any animals in your life, you'll relate. I laughed aloud many times. Here is one of the best sentences: "To anyone who has spent time with an animal, the notion that they have no interior lives seems so counterintuitive, such an obdurate denial of the empathetically self-evident, as to be almost psychotic."

Namaste from the Midwest and enjoy!

I like the next line even better:
1 Attachment(s)
"I suspect that some of those same psychological mechanisms must have allowed people to rationalize owning other people."

Thank you for posting this, Steph.

P.S. I knew when I saw the picture, below, that this little fellow was destined to spend his life with us. Luckily, his breeder thought so as well.

Great article, Steph.
Thanks for posting.

Nice pic, Rob. A real cutie there. Looks like my furbaby Tiger, now passed. He was a Maine Coon Cat and a true gentleman. And tho he started out the runt of his litter, he grew to be a twenty-pounder. Sweetest cat we ever had. Thanks for the memory.

Love, C.
