I have a question...
I have a question. When I post why is it that no one responds?
I'd sure like to hear something on that.

Hi, Shirley!
I, for one, don't want to step on your post! I want your name to stay there so others can see you posted. Unless you ask a question or something, I am happy just to see you here.... Sorry if this looks like we are ignoring you. We certainly aren't! Thank you for your posts. They mean so much.... Love, C.

Thank you for telling me that Cher O. I was concerned that I somehow intimidated our community. I certainly don't want that. Go ahead and step on me ;) Remember I played a doormat in many movies. I definitely don't mind being one here. I know you all have opinions. I like to hear them!

PS: I agree with Joe's father.

Thank you for commenting on my signature quote. That used to be even truer for me. Now I have to include myself with those who are asleep. ;) Your site helps in that regard, keeps me on my toes. Love to you and Terri and Buddy Bub. C.

P.S. I respond to your posts after I think they have been seen by most of our members. That's usually a few days. And only if I think I have something to add....

Can I be frank? (I always wanted to be Frank!) . . . I know I am new to the community (this is only my second year here), but it seems that you, Shirley, are not alone about posting and nobody responding. I see many posts (yours, mine, others) that go unresponded to although there are hundreds of views of the post. Why is that? How can I/we help increase engagement? There is so much knowledge here; I want to hear from everyone and get frustrated at the radio silence at times.

Sorry if I'm being too honest or up front.

Namaste from the Midwest,

I find that because people don't answer or post that much all the time - that in the last few years I now only look on the boards every few days. So I can see Cher's point that she wants to make sure everyone knows that you are the one asking the question partially because you pop in and then we may not hear from you again on the topic for a while. I do know that if I see that you've asked a question I will definitely put my 2 cents in. Your questions lead to some of the best discussions I've ever seen on these boards over the years.
xo Froggie :)

Well, from my vantage point... seeing deeply into the thing...
it's complicated; the relationship between the celebrity and the fan. :)

But i will agree with some of the others in this thread that
regarding these boards,
the dialog isn't there these days even
among the members themselves. i'm not sure why; because it
hasn't always that way.

But maybe this is cyclical and soon we members will begin again
to share ideas and creative notions with each other and with you
like we all used to, jumping out of the box, going beyond the surface
Heart to Heart.

I read your posts, Shirley.

I seldom post anymore, but I'm still around. :)

I read all of the posts. I may not comment very much, but I do like to check in and see what everyone is talking about. I have noticed that a lot of the "regulars" aren't saying much these days. I wonder why that is?
