The end of 2012 has been particularly difficult for the elders in my circle. So I ask for prayers in particular for:

Elaine Stritch, in recovery from a broken hip

Joe Petrocik, colds and flu

Myron Clement, who has been dealing with hip pain all year and recently fell.

but I also invite us to pray for our elders. For healing, wellness and protection.

As I was thinking about Elaine Stritch, and sending healing energy to her,Joe, and Myron, I couldn't help but jump in time to when she was on Letterman and mistook Dave as her incompetent pool boy!
