shirley's words
I just recently purchased Shirley's book I'm Over All That in the CD format. I have read the book ( a couple of times) myself, but listening to Shirley saying the words brings it to a whole other level. There are things I'm picking up on that I didn't focus on before. Plus, it just sounds more personal coming from Shirley herself. I would recommend to anyone who may be interested, to get this. I think I will purchase more of her books on CD. It really is quite different from reading the book yourself.

A good tip ~ thanks, Joanne! I want to get "Out on a Leash" on audio ... curious to hear Terry's voice :)

Lura, I am curious too! I loved this book also, so it should be an interesting listen!

Thank you Joanne for your opinion on this.
I too have been thinking about getting all of the audio books that they offer here. Because I have mild dyslexia, reading can be very tiring. I usually start out really well, with enthusiasm, and then I often just put the book down and don't finish it. Sometimes I read the first few chapters and then the middle and then the end. Lol I think I miss a lot inbetween. However, I will say that when "Out on a Limb" came out...I read that book cover to cover in no time! That is definitely a compliment to Shirley for that does not happen very often. :) |
I have the Camino on Audiobook and it is great listening to Shirley. I love to read but sometimes I have a hard time staying focused so I usually read the book then go back and listen to the audiobook. I love audiobooks :-)
