Speakin' of Sean bustin' out all over....my son, who was skin and bones a year ago is now a strapping 6'3", 200 lbs with chest and arms bulging muscles from his workouts. I am totally amazed...and he is feeling so good.

He had an appointment with his Baker Prosthetic's this week where they measured and gave him a shrinker for his amp leg in prep for his prosthetic.
They said they are waiting for the charity to release funds but showed him the "starter leg" that he will be receiving. Sean said it was amazing all the pivotal points in the knee, ankle and toes. He is really excited and looking forward to trying it out.

So, now we need to send energies to the Charity to release the funds so that we can proceed.

Also, I just got approved for putting in a wheelchair ramp at our apartment so Sean can be able to come visit in his wheelchair. Now, I have to do research as to what kind and who can install and get it done. As well, I got Sean approved for MITS (Mobility Impaired Transportation Service) which can transport him from the facility to our apartment for a visit and then come pick him up to return him to the facility.

So, we have a lot to look forward to - home visits until he is ready to come home permanantly. All in all everything is going very well. And it is so great to have him just 2 minutes away from home. I could walk him home if there was access under the interstate for a wheelchair, but alas there is not. So, we will just use MITS.

Sean asked me, as he does everyday, "How was your day?" And, as always, I said, "Great!" He said, "You always have a great day, don't you?" I said, "Yes, I do. I don't have bad days, I may have bad moments, but I quickly change that because I don't like how it feels." He said, "You choose, don't you?" I said, "Yes, I choose, I choose to have a great day." He said, "I am so glad you choose."

Today my boss, Carroll, said to me, "You are so good to me." I said, "You are so good to me, too." She said, "I love you." I said, "I love you, too!"

Did I have a great day? Ahhhh, yes, I most certainly did...I am so very blessed!

It was another great sharing day with Sean and Sweetpea as we shared our evening meal. Peg has found a wonderful cottage just across the street from Sean's facility and only two blocks from where I live. She will return to New Mexico this week to gather up her stuff and move here next month. How wonderful is that for us to have our best friend here with us. I bless her for choosing to join us here and thank her for loving us so very much that she would come to "Texas". ahahah, that is a joke as she is from Chicago and never would have dreamed of living in Texas. I can't wait for her to pick up the "southern drawl" here. ahahahah! I told her, "You are now a Texan! You have a Texas address!"

For those of you who know our humor, that is a huge deal! ahahahaha!

Anyway, Sean is doing just great. He is still waiting for his prothesis and hopefully that will be coming soon. In the mean time he is working out to build up his upper body. I have to say, he has massive arms now. And his smile lends me to know that he is really proud of where he is at now.

So, my dear friends, please continue with your loving healing energy prayers and intentions for they are so working for my beautiful son. There will come a day when he will write his own story on this board. He is continually grateful for all the love and care that you all lend. Please continue with us on our wonderful journey.

Love you all,

Need some help here!
Sean is experiencing swelling in his lower extremities and we don't know what that is caused from. Whether it be blood clot or kidneys, it is causing him great discomfort. They are working now to do all they can to find out the cause.

Could use an extra dose of healing energies and intentions for Sean's highest good!!!

We had a wonderful day today. I took sirloin steak, loaded potatoes and aspargus for our "Mother's Day" Lunch. We watched, "Trouble with the Curve" movie with Clint Eastwood. Then we put together the Herb Garden that Sean got me for Mother's Day. It was a wonderful day.

He has been doing so well except for the UTI infection. We haven't experienced this swelling before though. So, thank you, each and everyone for continuing to join us along this healing journey.

Love you all,

oh Deb....am so sorry about this. He was doing so well while I was there, except for that infection which they were already treating.

You bet, am keeping him in my prayers and sending lots of love/light energies to provide what he most needs right now for his highest good.

So hard to believe...because when I was there last year he was so emaciated, almost skeletal, and when I saw him on my visit the last several weeks I couldn't believe how healthy he looks. What a difference...he has gained weight and built up his arm muscles thru physical therapy. Looks so good...see pix below...

Hugging you too , my friend, and am so glad you both got to enjoy a good Mother's Day. That was special...
