Practical Magic Meets Second Hand Lions

Throughout my spirtual journey I have always preferred the shaman path. The shaman path has always allowed me to retain my Christian values; but expand it to my own personal growth experiences. With the rebirth of the goddess religions from new age genres though there's been a great amount of work come through Hollywood.

I would love to see Hollywood make a movie about a witch with practical magic whose familiar is not a housecat but a big old second hand lion.

Chi 10-28-2011 04:54 PM

some came running

I have been home from work for weeks now, recuperating from surgery. The other day, I happened to check TCM channel and saw that Shirley's movie Some Came Running was about to start. I have seen almost all of her movies, but never this one. If you haven't seen it, you should. What a great movie and I can see why Shirley was nominated for an Oscar for this. Also, the very last scene with Dean Martin removing his hat is perfection!
