Travel with me
I did this with some friends the other night after dinner. Itís another one of my little exercises and I hope you will want to journey with me. Itís like permission to daydream.
We create a group picture through meditation and breathing. I donít want to say much more because, if, as it did at dinner, this can be a wonderful experience and quite a lesson.
Iíll start by setting a foundation for the location.
Then anyone that wants to participate in the experience can share what they see.
Begin by breathing deeply through your nose.
Hold the breath for 9 seconds.
Exhale through your mouth.
Repeat this two more times.
(One for Spirit, one for mind, one for body.)
Allow the tension to leave your body.
Your shoulders relax.
A tropical forest.
I can smell the decay of vegetation.
It smells sweet.
I see a waterfall in the distance.
I hear birds.
I feel at home.
Close your eyes.
Continue breathing deeply.
What do you see, hear, taste, smell, feel physically and emotionally?
Add your comments. (Donít quote this original post - just let things flow)
there is the waterfall
the splashing and gurgling relaxes me
I sit on a rock
feet dangling in the water
the sun feels exquisite on my back and shoulders
I have seen this spot
a long time ago
it is very cocooning
My eyes are closed
But I can see where I am
who else is here?
OH it is you!
I have come upon the edge of the clearing. The earth is moist and spongy under my feet and insects are buzzing around me. As I step out of the deep shade of the trees into the open I hear the water splashing.
Birds lift swiftly to the high branches and a small creature scurries into the vegetation. I hear the plops of several frogs into the pond.
The air is cooler here and mists are rising from the splashing water at the base of the fall.
I walk to the edge of the pool and splash the cool water on my face and arms.
The birds call in the trees, watching me cautiously.
I find a fallen log at the edge of the water and sit. Cool, damp. Feeling the waters cooling evaporation on my skin.
My eyes close and I breath in the fresher air of the clearing. Ionized. The sun through the canopy of the branches is casting dappled shawdows on everything.
My eyes close and I breathe deeply for a moment. My lungs enjoy the fresher cooler air here. And then..............silence.
I didn't move from my original spot. There was an ever so slight cool breeze and somehow the air smelled fresher.
Keep these exercises coming, Shirley!
In the jungle, the mighty jungle...
Walking up to the edge of the water, I see Dreamer sitting there and smile at her, greeting her with a telepathic hug but no words, so as not to intrude upon the sacred silence. I sense the others scattered around and telepathically greet them, too.
Lush, tangled vines decorated with huge fragrant blooms cling lovingly to various surfaces, lending their perfume to add to the magic of this place. Somewhere in the overgrowth a group of monkeys chatter to each other. I look up to see if I can see them, and sitting on a branch overhead is a huge golden eagle, quietly watching me. The eagle looks me in the eye, then lifts its wings and flies away, leaving me breathless and in awe of his majesty.
I'm drawn to the waterfall. The rocks behind the rushing water gleam golden in the lazy sunlight that filters through the dense vegetation. I can feel the spray on my face as I step closer. Suddenly I'm compelled to dive into the cool, clear water. I take a deep breath and push downward, behind the waterfall into an opening that somehow I knew was there, beneath and behind the rock face. The water grabs and pulls me through, but I am not afraid.
Just when I think my lungs are about to burst, I come up into a chamber, a cave filled with glistening quartz crystals of every imaginable hue. The waves of energy the stones emit should be staggering, but somehow are not.
At the edge of the pool on this side of the falls a set of stone steps lead out of the water and to an opening in the cave. Following along as if in a dream, I emerge from the shadowed cave into a clearing. There in front of me rise the stone steps of a temple, reaching upward to the cerulean sky. On either side of the steps sit sentinels: a pair of intricately carved, deeply green jade jaguars. I want to touch them, to feel the sleek power beneath their green skins, but I'm a bit intimidated by their power.
I take a step forward, and put one foot on the bottom step, pausing to look up at the top of the temple, trembling with excitement and anticipation...
I followed your instructions. This is what I experienced.
I began to relax with each breath.
I pictured the waterfall. I heard the birds and waterfall. I wasn't sure of the smell.
An image of a South American Indian in native garb, carrying an arrow and bow pointed at me, kept coming up. He wouldn't stop following me and threatening me.
I gravitate towards the waterfall.
My Jack Russell interrupts me. Animals have this weird sense of seeking me out when I am meditating. I don't know why.
I try again. I am in waist deep water, walking my way towards the waterfall. I am forcing the image of the Indian with the arrow out of my mind.
I am under the waterfall. I feel cleansed. A lot of sad emotions being washed away. Images of South American Indians, women and children, looking at me with curiosity keeping coming up. I couldn't fully concentrate with these uncontrolled images popping up. My mind is not as disciplined as I thought. I will try again another time.
I see a path that leads me towards the waterfall. I hear chanting...There is a way to go behind the waterall into a cave where Monks are reciting Mantras. I take off my shoes, bow to the Buddha statue and sit with them and Pray.
Okay...I can't wait any longer...
I look up the steps of the temple. It is pyramid-shaped in the Meso-American style and would be at home in Chichen Itza or Tenochtitlan, and I can't imagine how such a grand site has escaped being found long ago. Yet there are no crowds of tourists anywhere nearby, no sign of recent human trespass at all.
I begin to climb the stone stairs, past the jaguar sentinels, slowly making my way upward. Looking up, I notice the air shimmering about midway up the steps, like heat shimmering against the achingly blue sky.
The higher I go, the harder it is to move. My feet feel as if they are encased in concrete, my arms feel like lead weights. The thought occurs to me that it feels like g-forces, but my rational mind dismisses that as absurd.
I come almost to a standstill, hating the thought of turning back, but unable to continue struggling against such extreme pressure. Then with my next step, I break free of the force and nearly fall from straining against something that is no longer there. I look behind me, down the pyramid, but see nothing.
As quickly as I can, I begin to climb again. At first I think the pounding sounds I hear come from my heart, beating heavily with exertion, but with every step forward I take, the sound grows louder until I can clearly hear the rhythm being played on what must be huge drums.
Just as I make it to the top of the temple, a masculine figure appears above me, draped in what can only be jaguar skins, wearing a necklace of teeth and claws. His skin is the color of red jasper, his hair like jet. He looks quite intimidating, but I feel no fear as I join him atop the ziggurat.
He does not speak and does not seem surprised to see me. I follow him to the other side of the temple and gasp as I look down on hundreds of other natives in similar garb. I look around in confusion, not remembering having read about such a demonstration. Suddenly I realize that as far as I can see, there are no signs of modern civilization. There are no tourists wandering around. The buildings in front of me are not ruins, they look whole and vital and alive. Swinging around to look behind me, I do not see the dense overgrowth of jungle from which I just came...there are plants and trees, but not the same ones through which I had emerged only a short while before...I wonder wildly where everyone else is...and where I am!
I see the waterfall as azure blue cascading in a shimmering brilliance. The waterfall begins to change in color, and it now becomes a deep purple hue with a white glow surrounding the main flow of water. Behind the waterfall lies a cave dwelling, a haven, a place of peace and comfort, designed by me and for me to retreat to for rejuvenation. The cave is covered in soft moss. I lay down upon the moss. The moss smells sweet, feels soft and lush, it is green, plush and alive. There are crystals of varying sizes and shapes in the corners of the cave. They are beacons for those who are fusing energies from another plane of existence. In the cave, I am in complete serenity and safety, mind, body and spirit. As I lay upon the moss a bear appears, he is golden with a blue hue that vibrates beyond the initial golden appearance. Suddenly it becomes apparent that the tropical region I am in is not one of this earth, I am on another plane of existence, perhaps another planet, I am unsure. I feel safe and at home, however, I cannot name where I am. It doesn't feel necessary to name it. I stand and leave the cave that lies behind the waterfall and am drawn to the "sky" above me. A large bird, one that I have known for many lives flies close to me and circles with an energy that is familiar, very ancient, very consoling. He is eagle like, but larger, and the shape of the body is not that of the eagle. He is wise, he is a guide, he is more than bird. He "speaks" through his flight. The scents that fill the air around me are those of fragrant and exotic flowers, musk, and wet leather. The soft tan leather has been moistened to form to my feet so that the trail I am now walking toward will be easier to tread, as it is a steep uphill climb. I walk the path with ease. There is a beautiful bright green lizard upon the rock to my right. He has eyes that shine in love. I reach the top of a mountain which now appears in the form of amethyst formations. Ancient guides await in a circle, a fire is lit and they gather in sacred ritual of a reunion of souls, a reuniting of energies that have bonded over many lifetimes, galaxies, universes. I sit now in the circle, I feel peace, I smell the smoke of the fire, the burning of the yarrow, the slight scent of mint in the air. This is where I will remain until the process is complete. This is where I will sleep tonight.
It is warm and though the air is humid it is not oppressive and caresses my skin like soft velvet. My noise is filled with pungent ordours of ferns, mosses and musky earthy smell of decaying wood.
Though it is day I am in shadow. The crown coverage above lets little light in. Vines and mosses abound on the tree trunks. Looking over I see the remenants of a once large tree. It's wood has become squishy and fibrous, mosses have dressed it's decaying body and life abounds. A young sapling arises from it's shell bringing life full circle.
I walk quietly to the sound of water as birds call overhead making a cacophany of sound. I look up, up and up and see a flash of brilliant colour but within seconds it it gone being swallowed by the vegetation overhead. Life is teeming above whereas there is a gentle stillness below.
Beams of light struggle to break through the canopy and where they reach the ground an area of vegetation exists. Flowers bright and colourful trumpet their existance and bees lazily drink in their nectar.
I reach the stream, gurgling and cascading down rocks the water dances along. The rocks are spongy and slippery and I find a spot that gives my barefeet better footing. I find a flat rock and sit down. As I gaze across the pool below the waterfall yellow eyes silently stare back. Eyes lock, penetrating and mysterious. Spellbound we hold each others spirits. Slowly, with an elegance filled with athletic grace and beauty, the black panther slips away. Before she becomes a memory she looks back then fades away into the shadows. All that remains is a whispering echo in the soul.
The smells, the sounds, the sites, I am one with them and they are one with me. Life is beauty, life is love, life is.
I love your picture. May the Forest Be With You As Well - All Ways... L&L, Diane
Laughter, Life and Love
I hear the sounds of all the animals all around me, as I walk along I hear a stick break under my feet. I feel the moisture thickly in the air as if it is heavy against my body! I see the auras of all the living things before me and I sense the serenity of this sacred moment....;) as the energy of all there is surround me and I become and meld all there is. I'm full in my spirit as I walk along this wonderful place...
A safe space
I was in a clearing, hearing the sound of water beckoning me to come find the source...I knew that others were here, but I went off on my own, and thought that I'd think about color, in order to get my mind off all the scary insects that I knew were just there being what they were, making the place come alive...and so I thought of all the red flowers, orange fruit, yellow feathers on the birds, and mostly green, and then the blue sky and blue-green water, and some purple moss. And then light swirling together all the color and movement from my surroundings and from my spirit, connecting us -- and I decided that I'd walk through the light as if it were a doorway, and when I came out the other side...I was lighter and the space arround me told me to sit under a tree and feel safe that nothing would harm me, so I sat. Then I imagined that rocks and plants to microorganisms and insects, and lizards and all the mammals and birds were sharing this planet in all it's forms and color, and in front of me was a huelandite crystal that I remembered seeing a while ago. I asked it what it could tell me about this place, and I didn't get anything, I just felt light and good, and realized that was the point, and that my thoughts were sustaining this place. I was making everything beautiful by feeling so great and full of light and love. And I didn't want to go back to not being conscious that I had this power.
I am sitting on a little bluff under the shade of the dense jungle canopy. I see my friends off exploring the universe they co-created. Most of them are on their own. Creating their visions in their perfection.
A little green beetle looks up at me. I hear itís thoughts. It is thanking us for appreciating all the wonders of this world.
The waterfall beckons. Ahhh a cool dip in itís energy would be so cleansing and refreshing.
And then maybe I can gather my friends and together we can create a meditation for our Mother Earth?
Iíll go see. Bye little beetle.
I Am Here With You.
The ground is moist and clammy. I wade ankle deep in the river. I can feel the icy chill from the water swirl between my toes. The pebbles in the river bed are soft and round, massaging the balls and heels of my feet. The tension in my lower back is loosening up.
I walk along the shore of the river and graze my hand along the large green leaves of vegetation. Some of the leaves are very large and have a dark, bold green tone to them. They almost appear plastic. I touch them. I rub a leaf between the tips of my thumb and forefinger. The leaves are very much alive and very warm to the touch. The sun rays have been beating down upon them.
There is a light breeze in the air. I take in a deep breath. I can smell the wild flowers in bloom. There's a fresh citrus scent gliding along the breeze. I follow the scent.
As I walk along the shore of the river, I notice I am walking with the waves of the river. I pick up pace and play with the waves. I am jogging and gazing back at the waves I've left behind, and the ones ahead of me, and the ones just at my side.
The river is alive and she is in the mood for a race. I pick up my jogging to the pace of running. The river is running at my pace now. She is picking up speed too. Her waves are challenging me to run with her to the finishing line.
We reach the finishing line together as my friend, the river, jumps with a rush and a huge continuous splash over a cliff and to the base of the waterfall she has created.
I remain at the top and watch her play at the bottom. I sit on a large boulder mother nature has left at the edge of this high cliff. It's her chair she has provided for any creature to rest and take in the view of the richly forested valley below.
The breeze lightly blows through my hair and whispers a distant bird melody. It says, "I am hear with you".
This is my home. My heart. This is the place forever within me.
his resting place
i reach out my hand
the red draggonfly stops by
and considers me
his resting place.
Standing atop the edges of lush green hillsides
feeling the heart of the sun beating
feeling the trees and the plants breatheing
feeling eachother; each standing alone...
perspiration from the jungle heat
Sliding down into a deep cool canyon
it's golden walls glistening damp with the sun
a crystal stream trickles inbetween
as we slide right into it, one by one...
Joy and Light,
A crystal city...
Embraced by nature, the sounds of falling water, chirping birds, and tiny frogs, I sit by the pool of clear fresh water. Terry nuzzles my hand to bring to the awareness that we have friends standing nearby.
I see a glint... a shine from behind the waterfall. Is it crystal? I squint to see behind the flowing water. It is! It is a crystal city!
It's the frequency. Ha!
It's a higher frequency.
the crystal makes everything vibrate here at
an accelerated rate.
and so it helps sometimes (while you are here)
to dwell simultaneously deep in the heart of the
This way the elementals of the second demension
are able to join with the higher energies you encounter
here... and assist you in the task of remaining in your
body, while you are adjusting to the higher frequencies
As you can see... there are many towering, sacred
geometries here... and we incourage you to enter and
dwell in each one. You will find that each structure
has its own unique amplification to offer. And your
Higher Self will guide you to the right one.
My personal favorites are the crystal domes. I
seek them out daily. they are wonderful!
Out of all the sacred geometries here, they promote
the most exquisite healing. There is just something
about the beautiful domes. Look at them!
Even just looking at them... creates a sense of
well being; doesn't it?! I just love them!
Their shapes seem to assist the light energies in
flowing in and around one more evenly and quite
gently. Compared to the crystal triangles... where
the energy just seems to shoot straight down from
their vortexes right in through the top of one's head.
But then, the triangles are more knowledge based.
But the domes... the amplification of the domes seem
to cater more to the well being of the terrestrial heart.
Out of nowhere! Ha!
Love to all!
:p as I walk slowly toward the pool of water left undulating under the Godly sound of the waterfall that is coming closer and closer with every step I take. Crunch, crunch the twigs crack as I walk along, all of a sudden a cloud bursts and the rain tumble down on my head, encompasing my body, hitting my cheeks and into my eyes. The sweet smell of the rain causes such joy in me, a tear comes from my eye. I am the cloud and the rain that tumbles down on to the earth. I am one with it . I become it and know I create it. As I walk along the crunch under me stops and it becomes cool, soft moss under my feet, what a treat, my heart leaps. I'm standing encompassed by this rain on a patch of cool moss, looking through the trees, with a slight ray of light beaming down on me , such joy fills my heart as I near the pool below the water fall. I take off my top and my shorts and slip easily and gently into the pool as the rain continues to fall. It is so quiet here as quiet as I feel inside...
:p My feet turn into a tail and I swim off gently under the waterfall and into a new world, one where there isn't pain or saddness, just peace and play and knowing!

Ferns In Crystal
The crystal city has a beautiful garden. The ferns appear to be growing from the energy of the crystal in the background. Can you feel the vibrating energy of life?
Hi Diane: You are welcome and thank you for the photo. I don't have a digitial camera either. Well I did but it is cheap and doesn't take great pics at all. All I do is when I get my photos produced I also get them to scan them on a disc and then put them on the computer. To save on the computer memory I take them off but can always put them back on because of the disc. Well I am off on holiday now.
Laughter, Life and Love
Thanks for the cam tip Puma, and the photos everyone, they are beautiful!
bump, bump, bump! It's too good to waste!:D
Where did everyone go? I'm in the crytal room behind the waterfall...
Where are you?
Oh! There you are!
LOL! Had a bunch of wildflowers to get through to make it over to the waterfall.
But now I see where you are!
There you are..
:p There you all are?! I can see you now... A crystal shining from your third eyes... Walking as if you are floating and talking without words as you all float effortlessly. Your thoughts come to my minds eye in a serene and peaceful ,quiet way as my own crystal vibrates and quivers in my third eye, as we all communicate without words, just out loving thoughts, behind the water~fall in the crystal room!? ;)
It was just after dawn when I broke through into the clearing. As I open my eyes from meditation and move myself gently I can tell by the light in the clearing and the position of the sun in the sky that it is now mid-morning.
As I listen to the tree frogs and the cries of the birds above I focus my gaze across the pool to the place where the water falls and splashes on the rocks.
There behind the cascading waters I see a sparking bit of rainbow colored light.
Standing slowly and stretching now I bring my body back into awareness. As I step into the water I know that I have been in this place before. Wading deeper into the cool clean water of the pool until I am chest deep I feel the smooth rounded stones under my feet and push through the cool liguid with my legs until I reach the base of the falls. On the other side I put my hands on the cool wet stone shelf of the basin and push myself out of the water onto the flat rock, walk to one side of the falls and step behind the curtain of water. The sound of the falling water is louder here but as I enter the opening of the cave behind the waterfall the sounds diminish.
The interior of the cave is lit softly from an opening in the top of the crystal dome. Once inside the main crystal room the colors are soft and bright. Hues I have never seen in the world outside this crystal domed cave. The first thing I notice is a being off to the left side of the open room. This being is very tall and clothed in a robe of many colors so that it nearly blends in with the multi-hued crystal walls of the domed room. This being is surrounded by an aura of softly glowing light. It speaks telepathically and invites me to enter and sit.
I hear others now entering the space of the dome. Wet footfalls on the stone floor of the hall that leads into the this light filled crystal room. Voices hushing as they come through the door into this sacred space and are invited, as I was, to enter and sit in a circle which is inlaid with lapis and amethyst upon the crystal floor. There is Terry. She takes her place in the circle with everyone and lies down in her Annubis pose with legs stretched out behind her, head erect and attentive to the robed being who stands in place welcoming each one to the circle.
We have come to learn about our connection to each other and our connection to the Divine One. The room is hushed now as we await the lesson which is about to begin...........
As we sit together in this circle, our oneness begins
to manifest itself. We begin to emanate together as
one circular prism of light, flowing from the left and
flowing from the right simultaneously, so that it appears
as if there are two bands of light moving in opposite
directions connecting us, flowing through and around us.
We become one in the flow of this beautiful breathe-taking
prism light. Looks of surprise as we begin to rise. Itís
like some sort of a cosmic carnival ride! Laughter!
Cosmic Laughter! And the more we laugh,
the more we riseÖ until we're rising right through the crystal
ceiling into what is now a beautifully star-lit indigo sky.
And now weíre spinning violet, flying like a disc all aglow,
passing two unsuspecting lovers who catch a glimpse of
us from down below.
ďDid you see that?!Ö What was that?!Ö I donít know.
More cosmic laughter, as we begin to teeter. Laughing
hysterically; because we donít know either. Ha! But what
a one-derful night, and what sweet delight it is to be
spinning through the cosmos with all of you tonight. Ha!
Joy and Light, Chi
This was beautiful
Thank you Chi. It was wonderful!! I didn't know where the story was going.
I didn't know where it was goin' either. Ha!
As others gathered in the crystal room I followed the panther and became her mysteries. Resting near a tree and with each pulsation I became one within his leafy being learning his song of life. Lightning struck and in an inferno of powerful blazing glory that incinerated all that I was, I reached the sky to dissipate into the wind. Learning her dance I soared like an eagle into the clouds to become the raindrop that fell from the sky back to the waterfall. Pulsating with a thunderous flow I leapt, ran and skimmed over the rocks and crystals hidden under my watery surface. The ancient stones called and beckoned to me and I shimmered thier fiery and icey light. Prisms of rainbow hues ignited through my being as they imparted their ancient wisdoms.
I am alive as the plant, animal and stone. My being is of fire, air, water and earth. I am all and I am in deep gratitude for being all that is. Life is being and being is life.
Laughter, Life and Love
Floating as I walk. I see the clouds floating by. I feel the breeze gently moving my hair and the suns warmth against my face. My third eye throbs because you are nearby. Suddenly you float up into my view and I let out a sigh!?;) There you all are!
It took a year, but here we are! You found us and I found you and can feel the warnth of the sun and the wind...
Those red rocks have beckoned to me and now we are in
sight of your vision....
Mine is just starting to clear.... it is more of a throbbing of heart beats, like drum beats, in rhythm with each other
we are who we are where we are why we are when we are
now we are one......
