THESE PICTURES WERE TAKEN NEAR GORDON, WI

Not just any mother bear and her cub, but a black bear with a white cub.
I don't know how rare it is for a black bear to have a white cub but at
least we can say we've seen it no matter how rare it is!
Kind of like a white buffalo. Since there seems to be no sign of a pink nose or eyes, I would say that it is not an albino.

Probably the biggest misconception about Black Bears is that they are black. Like grizzlies they exhibit incredible colour variation, ranging from blond to cinnamon to jet black. Stereotypical colouration is dark brown to black with a tan muzzle. On British Columbia's spectacular Princess Royal Island there is a unique population of Black Bears of which one in every ten is white, a fabled Spirit Bear. These bears are not albinos, but rather the product of 2 parents both possessing a regressive white gene, and have long been of special spiritual significance to Native North Americans.

I am so reminded about what Chief Arvol said about not only will we see white buffalo being born, but there will be other species as well, during the changing times.....

White Spirit Animals

Thanks for sharing this, OO...It reminds me of a dream I had back in about 1993 or so. I was standing in a cave that was behind a waterfall, and out in front of the cave stood seven white bears. On the back of each of the bears stood a white eagle. Along side the bears and eagles were seven white wolves and seven white buffalo.

At that time I was learning from a Blackfoot Indian named Jim Eagle Feather, who was from up North but said he was guided to stay down here on the coast to teach about the coming earth changes. Jim said that every where he went, whether at powwows or at craft shows (he and his partner make beautiful medicine bags and native jewelry), someone would come up and describe the same dream to him. I don't recall exactly what the significance of the dream was, exactly, other than it was an omen of things to come.

Since then I've seen the white moose, the white bears...even a white alligator! Each time it gives me shivers, but I think back on the prophesies at that time and how they've changed in just 10 years ...FOR THE BETTER, I might add! We are headed in the right direction despite all the cries of gloom and doom.

Very interesting dream, especially since there were seven of each of the animals...I wonder what the significance of the dream is?

Is the photo of the white moose taken in Wisonsin too. If not where abouts cuz I am curious to know?

I know of another white moose and calf, though the calf is only half white. It is not far from the family cabin, about 10 miles. Just last week my brother saw them early in the morning. He said he had to do a double take and then pinch himself to make sure he wasnt' seeing things. :)
Seems to be that a lot of white animals are showing up which is wonderful.
