Cooking in the Lite

Recipes

Lo-Carb Cabbage Sauté

You can make this the center of a meal or serve as a side dish.

  • 1/2 head red cabbage, chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tsp Mirin (sweet Japanese vinegar - any high-quality vinegar will do)
  • Feta cheese

Spray nonstick pan with tiny amount of cooking spray.
Place cabbage in heated skillet and cover.
When cabbage is soft (or al dente, if preferred), sprinkle feta on topand cover.
Leave until feta softens.
Remove from heat and toss with 2 tsp mirin.
Enjoy!
