Cabbage Fruit Basket Salad

Cabbage is from the cruciferous family of vegetables which is named because of their cross-shaped or crucifer shaped flower petals. It’s an excellent source of vitamin C and a powerful antioxidant. Cabbage is also very alkalizing, which helps the body maintain optimum health and energy. But many of us don’t like the slightly bitter taste of raw cabbage. This recipe hides that subtle bitter taste and is so packed with flavor that it will become a family favorite.

  • 1 1/2 cups Green cabbage - finely shredded
  • 1/4 cup Red seedless grapes - halved
  • 1/4 cup Apples - diced
  • 1/4 cup Pineapple - diced
  • 1/4 cup Carrots - finely shredded

Place the Cabbage in a serving bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and toss with Fruitiful Dressing
