Feta Cheese Spread
"This spread has gone over big whenever I bring it."
Sandy (LifeStudent)
- 1/2 pound Feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup Sour cream
- 8 oz. Cream cheese, softened
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. Dill, dried
- 1 tsp. Basil, dried
- 1/4 tsp. Thyme, dried
- 1 tbs. Chives, chopped and dried
- 1 tsp. Oregano
- 1 tbs. Parsley, dried
In a food processor blend the ingredients together until the mixture is well combined
Transfer to a crock, cover and chill for about two hours
It’s best if you can prepare it the night before
If the consistency is too thick, add 2 tbs of sour cream.
Blend it in. Add a little more until you have the consistency you want.
Spread on celery, crackers or use as a dip.
*Fresh herbs may be substituted
Brit’s Note:
I tried it with apples and the natural sweetness of the apple works very well with the spices and cheese.
