Cooking in the Lite

Recipes

Veggie Pate

As a Snack or as an appetizer - simply nutritious delicious!

  • 1 cup soaked pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup soaked almonds
  • 1/2 cup soaked walnuts
  • 1/2 cup soaked sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup brown sesame seeds
  • 2 cup mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp lemon pepper
  • Braggs Liquid Aminos, to taste

Soak nuts and seeds overnight.
Drain.
Blend all nuts in processor until smooth.
Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
Chill at least two hours before serving.
This is wonderful on Wasa crackers or for the filling in stuffed mushrooms or stuffed peppers.
